It's a very good question and it really makes one think. For me, I forget my dreams to quickly to specify any details about them. But I another question one could ask is when you read a story does your mind process it as words? or do you see moving pictures like a movie?
When I dream I dont even remember my dreams or my the color of it when i wake up. But rarely i remember the dream but i dont pay attnetion to the color. And besides its a dream , its most likely not going to happen in your lifetime so yah.... ...
Mine are usually colorful, except I have these weird ones where at the end everything gets black and white and I can't move and then I wake up and there's all these things moving in my room.
