pvtNobody, I appreciate your views on conceal carry and agree with you, however I don't think you really know what you are talking about when it comes to guns and the constitution.
First, you stated that the average range for a pistol is 1000 yd and 2500 yd which is incorrect. Yes the bullet can possibly travel that far but a decent shooter would only shoot between, well in the case of self defense, 0 yd to 50 yd. Self defense is what we are talking about right? If you want to shoot 1000 yd and 2500 yd then you better be carrying a very accurate rifle, possibly in .243 or .308 caliber, that has about a $1000 scope on it.
Second, the 4th amendment is guarantees protection from unreasonable search and seizure. It is the second amendment that guarantees the right to bear arms.
