I feel that National Service should be mandatory for all male singaporeans. As you know, we might not know when there will be war and when there wont be . So its better to be safe than sorry , preparing beforehand . National service not only prepare male singaporeans for war but also build up their physical attributes . I feel that it is compulsory to all males because the trainings they receive in there would be very tough and therefore their minds would mature into adults and would behave better. It should be mandatory also for the sake of the country . To prepare for the war, they need to have the strength to go out on a war and beat others. Therefore , if a war happens , there will be enough soldiers to go out on a fight. If national service is not introduce, when there is war time, everyone will not know what to do and will eventually get defeated. So , i feel that National Service should be mandatory for all male singaporeans.
