Yes.

Why in the world is the government even funding anything in radio? The amount of people listening to the radio is going down. Let the market decide if they want to hear it.

How would the government ensure that people register? I’m willing to bet that most people who attempt suicide aren’t anticipating that they’ll fail.

Also, the suicide could also negatively affect other people who aren’t registered for death or a life of misery. What should happen if the suicidal person decides it is in their best interest to do the deed in front of his or her child(ren) or parent(s)? Is this okay since it’s government sanctioned?

"2. It will also let citizens think harder about actually committing suicide if they have to go through a registration process.”

This whole thing doesn’t make much sense to me. People have been committing suicide for years, without any regard to anything, let alone laws they will no longer have to abide by after following through with their plans. I can see this approach for hospice patients or something, but no one is going to consider the legality of committing suicide. What happens if they do it illegally?

Though this question is much too broad and has no context, I believe physician-assisted suicide, a type of human euthanasia, should be legalized.

Boycotters of BP gas stations, in my opinion, are thoughtless imbeciles. Boycotts will not hurt BP in the slightest. The only people they’ll hurt is the independently owned BP gas stations.

Nationalism goes against the grain of progressivism. History has shown that any attempts to thwart progressivism will do nothing but destroy you. “Nationalism” is different from “patriotism” in that patriotism is pride in what a nation is. Nationalism is pride in what a country was. Patriotism is a good thing; nationalism is illogical.

Smashing windows of businesses doesn’t act as any sort of threat to the politicians. They have so much security, they’ll never be touched. It doesn’t do anything but hurt an already-wounded economy, and it doesn’t make anyone want to listen to them any more than they already don’t.

The idea of restricting the rights of a minority group disgusts me. I thought we had overcome bigotry.

I believe in the death penalty 100% too, but I’m disappointed in the non-needed politics behind it. I hear of plenty of obviously-guilty people in the news that committed absolutely deplorable acts that get only life in prison. As a citizen in a state that rarely utilizes the death penalty, I’d like to see THESE people succumbing to their damned fate. States like Texas need to be more conservative in their sentencing of the death penalty, and states like Pennsylvania need to be more liberal. The death penalty needs to become more equalized.

It’s obviously propaganda, but all media is propaganda in the United States. It’s a consequence of free press, and I personally can live with it. I just laugh off biased news reports I hear— Fox News, CNN, or MSNBC alike.
