you forgot that china has machinery, and Factories. not just men. also they know how to use their machines to make everything you buy at wal-mart.
"so the first Korean War wouldn't be a good indicator of how we would do now" for your information the USA already had nuclear weapons in 1950 to 1955. USA used it in japan during world war 2, but you probably never heard of world war 2 anyways. also china did not have nuclear weapons to retaliate back in 1950 to 1955. Therefore, it would make less sense to use it now.
