Proof that evolution is a bogus notion.
If we evolved from apes, then how is it that an ape can be trained to close doors and shut off lights and employees cannot be trained to do these things?
No, since the Internet Movie Data Base has nothing to do with evolution or this debate, and even if it did I wouldn't accept IMDb as an acceptable source.
Now, explain to me what connection there is between Paris Hilton and evolution.
The link is not to evolution, since I'm clearly not in favor of it. If you cannot see a link between de-evolution and Paris Hilton, than you really need help.
The majority of people I associate with or people I know have a greater than average intelligence. I do have friends who I consider to have average intelligence, but I do not consider them to be any sort of proof for de-evolution.
Our ancestors evolved from the cousins of Apes that we see today. So these Apes that open and shut doors are not in direct relation to us. Furthermore, the fact that these Apes harbor similar intelligence towards humans demonstrates the relation we have with them.
Evolution is still on the go; chances of being born without an extra set of ribs has grown higher, and the little pinky toes on our feet are growing smaller in every new generation as it's use is lacking. Net intelligence is notably rising as well.
First, evolution DOESN'T MEAN "SPECIES GET SMARTER"

Average, good looking people do. In this society, where food is almost guaranteed if you live in the USA, where shelter is also easy to find growing up, where schooling is free, where it's possible to get a job, or at least welfare money, there is no reason to be intelligent except to do science and find things out.
When it comes to breeding, the best looking and the most promiscuous people have the most babies.
That means those good looking, average, or below average intelligence babies are more numerous than smart, nerdy babies.
That means over 300 years, there will be quite a few more good looking, average or below average babies than smart, nerdy babies.
Evolution works because qualities that are useful for breeding get passed on. A lizard born without legs will likely die. If it learns to wiggle very well, it might breed anyways, and if their babies are also good at wiggling, it might breed with only the best wigglers, until they become so good at wiggling, that they are called a "snake", and are so genetically different from lizards that they are no longer even able to breed.
Well, Mackindale has already said what I was kind of going to say about declining intelligence, but how will you dispute the facts I have given about Evolution?
And how our little pinky toes are getting smaller and such? Is that not proof that evolution is not as bogus as you think?
But we actually have recorded evidence that our little toes are shrinking to make way for the other toes throughout new generations to adapt to the odd environment we now live in. Why is it so hard to believe that our bodies change over time to adapt to certain environments? The proof is on you right now.
We also have the remnants of primal traits; such as the tail we used to have on our coccyx, and the transparent third eyelids that now line the side of our eyes. We also used to have another set nostrils that retracted inwards, leaving only two nostrils left (something that was only achieved by evolution.) We also had muscles in our ears that let us move them around, to accurately detect the location of an oncoming predator, but since humans became so successful, we had lost the use of such things. Nowadays, only some can twitch their ears, using muscles that have been deformed through evolution. There is also the remnants of a muscle in our feet that was used when our feet were like hands. It helped us climb trees like we see with apes today. But as the years went past, our ancestors decided to leave the trees and walk on land instead, making this muscle useless and deformed by evolution.
Dispute this, if you will, but I'm not sure you could dispute what is currently on you...
Or you could just accept evolution as truth... which would be the logical thing to do.
So the best offspring survive, based on random variables. Not based on the environment.
Humans born in space, even for a thousand generations, provided all humans have one baby always, and none die due to the effects of space, they would look the same as they do now.
But otherwise, evolution is reaaalllyyy slow, taking at least ten generations to see much difference. I'm not sure why the pinky is getting smaller, but I don't think it could be evolution. It could be shoes from a young age, combined with eating more food.

I disagree with you because you said god is necessary for evolution. That is false. The most basic element of evolution is the fact that no god or magic is needed. It happens on it's own.
Science is about peer review. There is NO authority. If you can't back up your claims, no one will take you seriously.

I'm an employee, and I might do similar things sometimes just to upset my boss. When apes are working their 9-5 jobs pulling paychecks, I doubt it ever occurs to them to stick it to the man in this fashion.
An ape is just acting out a function, a trained monkey. I can do everything the monkey can but have a more advanced and complex system of thought when it comes to deciding what I actually want and am going to do.

That isn't logical proof against evolution. Apes/monkeys are trained to do those very things with the highest priority in mine, while humans have several things in any point in their lives.
College grads and apes, which has been more extensively trained. Counting kindergarden, elementary, junior high, high school, college, seventeen years and cannot master even a simple task. A couple of weeks and the ape can do this; which one is more intelligent?
Humans are taught science, philosophy, art, health, etc. Apes, like you said, are taught basic concepts such as shutting off lights. So yes, humans are more intelligent than primates.

An ape can buy a computer. Can an ape walk into a store that sells computers? One can tape an envelope to such an ape with money in it and a note with instructions. When such a transaction is completed, the ape has boughten a computer. The ape needs no job or legal rights.
If the ape walks into a store with an envelope taped to it, he's obviously not buying it for himself. He's buying it for whoever taped the envelope to him. The person with the tape is buying the computer visa vie the ape. For the sake of argument, let's say the ape found the money and on the sidewalk and bought the computer, then it's not stealing if I take it away from him. You already established that the ape has no legal rights, therefore no right to property. Obviously, to be involved in any kind of legally binding transaction the ape would have to have rights. And the fact that he doesn't have them makes him not a person. You're kind of disproving your own point. People have rights. Apes do not.

Learning a command has nothing to do with evolution. The question alone proves that you know nothing about how evolution works. Evolution doesn't happen because of intelligence, it happens because of the need to adapt to environment.
