Who's Better? The King of Pop or the Queen of Pop?
I don't know about you, but for me, it seems like an ongoing debate. Who's better? Michael Jackson or Madonna? Michael Jackson (1958-2009) has made many hits such as Got to Be There, Ben, Music & Me, Forever Michael, Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, HIStory, and Invincible. However, Madonna (1958-) has also made some bestsellers such as Madonna, Like a Virgin, True Blue, Like a Prayer, Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light, Music, American Life, Confessions on a Dance Floor, Hard Candy, MDNA, and Rebel Heart. What my question is, who's the superior superstar?
It's pretty easy for me, it would be Michael. Madonna is ok, she's done some amazing things for the music industry but Michael is going to edge her out. Better songs, better dances, better moves, just better over all.

But seriously, this one isn't close. If you gave 1,000 random people a choice to see the moonwalk vs a glorified scientologist rage-aholoic, you'd have over 900 people at the Michael Jackson concert.
I agree. All Michael wanted was to enjoy what he did, have a good life, and have a family. It breaks my heart to see things such as the sexual abuse trials he had to go through. None of us even know if he was guilty. But, aside from that, he was the most amazing musician who ever lived!
I have to admit, I really like Madonna, but I just have to side with Michael. I've grown up with him forever, loved ALL of his music, and memorized his moonwalk. On the other hand, I only found out Madonna existed 2 years ago, listened to my first Madonna song at 11, and I haven't really heard every song that she made. Maybe when I find out a little bit more about her, my opinion might change, but in the meantime, she's still the Queen no matter what. Anyway, Michael was an amazing musician (may he rest in peace) who will still be one of my favorite pop stars ever!

I agree, Michael wins, but there are a few things I want to say. One, Michael Jackson isn't Jesus Christ. He sinned like the rest of us. Two, he won't send us to hell just for liking other singers. He wanted to HEAL the world, not destroy it completely. Three, Madonna is a Christian. She'll only go to hell if she doesn't believe in God, and based on what I've read about her, she's Catholic. So, to sum it all up, Michael Jackson wasn't God, he won't send us to hell, and Madonna won't go there either. I'm only saying this because of MY beliefs. I'm a Lutheran. Are you?
