It's interesting. I just did a bit of reading on this subject and here's what I've found so far: The Boy scouts have the Eagle Scout rank. Everybody knows what it is and how great it looks on a resume. The Girl Scouts equivalent to that is The Girl Scouts Gold Award and almost nobody knows of it. Outside of the Girl Scout community it's practically unknown so it doesn't have anything like the prestige that the Eagle Scout badge has. So that's one reason girls want to be Boy Scouts. The other reason is that many of the Girl Scout troops don't do any outdoor camping. Usually it's because the troop leader has no outdoor skills or one or more of the girls don't want to get dirty or sleep on the ground, so the girls that do want to go camping and don't mind roughing it and getting dirty are missing out on that experience. By the basic of the boy scouts I think that boys and girls can be together as a group so I think it's better for the task for each and every in point of view even with girl scouts of the prevention in the scout groups of each of the fact that many people know boy scouts and girl scouts can work as equal. Yes because in the bill of rights, 14th amendment, it says "life, liberty or property, without due process of law" or to "deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.β Which means that no one not even the president can discriminate against women nor children of the female sex. What if a girl wanted to learn how to tie knots like nooses, cut trees, not make cookies and cakes and sell cookies. Side: Civil Rights would be violated
Well honestly it's very sexist too not let girls join boy scouts and boys joining girl scouts. The girl scouts are based on what women like but there is some who are interested in doing stuff other the womanly activities. And boys might want to do other then manly things. They should be allowed to join whatever scouts they want to and stop being so damn sexist. Side: Civil Rights would be violated

Since a book of principles was tagged a myth(unfounded) and flashed down our toilets; Bible. Principles like murdering homosexuals and stoning fortune tellers to death. (unfounded) Founded. By, among other things, carbon dating and the theory of evolution. Side: Civil Rights would be violated
A book of principles ? π€ πππππ surely you mean a book of bullshit ? ( that's where shit goes down the toilet ) . There's also a lovely story in the bile / bible about a talking ass called Balaam, I think it should be re-named Jefferey π πΌπΏ = π΄ Side: Civil Rights would be violated

No. To me that's kind of like saying that the civil rights of the boys in the Boyscouts is being violated by having to accept girls. I do think Girl Scouts is a little drab, I'd much rather my daughter be able to be in a group with her brother where they can learn all sorts of outdoor things like camping, fishing, and the like. But it really doesn't matter to me too much what the Boy scouts/Girl scouts do so long as the kids are safe. Side: No, b/c they have Girl Scouts
No, and for many reasons, not just one... 1) They have alternatives (such as Girl Scouts) 2) Precedent is well set and I'm not aware of any who were crying foul about it 3) There are many studies which could be cited for justification which give merit to better learning when children are with their own gender. 4) I'm not sure the US courts would recognize that children have civil rights beyond that they not be abused. Don't most of the rest of civil protections kick in at legal adult age? Side: No, b/c they have Girl Scouts

No they shouldn't be allowed to join boy shouts, girls have their own group and if they desire to do activities the boy shouts are doing they should just talk to their troop leader about doing the things that they'd want to do that the boys are doing . Side: No, b/c they have Girl Scouts
No, because they have girl scouts. If they want to take part in the boy's activities they should ask the troop leader to make plans that allow them to the same thing as boy's. It really shouldn't be such a big deal If they don't like how the girls aren't allowed to join the boy's scout, they should make a scout that allow both genders. Side: No, b/c they have Girl Scouts

I feel like they don't have to full out stop having girl scouts, I feel like the Girls and the Boys scouts should come together and do adventures together, certain activities. But if a girl wants to be with the guys, let her. Maybe she just likes doing more physical things. Being judgmental as hell isn't going to solve anything really. Side: No, b/c they have Girl Scouts

No. Because of two simple words: BOY SCOUTS. Boy. There is a Girl Scouts organization for a reason. So as to balance that equation out and create equality there. This further demonstrates the theory that Feminism is no longer about equality of the sexes, but more about women wanting something, and using the argument of oppression to try and rationalize it.
