Are there sentient plants?
Plants don't have nervous systems, but they do have the ability to sense and react to stimuli, how do we know they aren't sentient on some level? Some plants are more sentient than others, as create debate has proven countless times, which plant is sentient enough to tell me if plants are sentient other than human vegetable tomato plant people who are only good for salad toppings.

It's certainly possible, we know humans are conscious (because we are human) and assume animals are because they are so similar to us. Since plants do act in response to their environment and signal to other plants and insects (Source 1) it appears that they might well be.
