nowadays it is difficult to get knowledge in universities. Because the cost of education is increasing every year... and my question is: Should be ducation in universities be paid or free?

People said the same thing about teaching all kids up to grades school. Than about teaching kids up to high school. Both times it improved society as a whole to educate everyone as a social group effort, the world and everyone's lives is better because of it, and without it you have a system of peasants and nobility akin to the dark ages no matter whether you call it capitalism or democracy. Why shouldn't life as a whole and for everyone improve further if we extend again the availability of an education? As the world changes and becomes more complex so the available education should improve and extend to ensure a minimal level of understanding. It is high time likely that education be furthered as a whole for society again. It's been over a century and an industrial and technology boom since we've done so last. Side: free

If all students were forced to go to college, the misallocation of resources would be exponential, the wasted resources would be paramount. The wasted resources under the current system is ridiculous. Billions of dollars are wasted, and only half of all students graduate college, and most are enrolled in public universities. Side: paid

"There is no such thing as a free lunch." Don't you mean 'Arbeit macht frei'? That's a much more elegant way of saying what you just said. And it wouldn't be the first time someone thought it was a good slogan. Side: free

Education, healthcare, food, shelter, and love should all be free, or extremely cheap. How would these things, save maybe for love, become free? Education and health care are both provided by teachers and doctors respectively, therefore you are saying that neither teachers nor doctors should have the right to charge for their services. Don't buy into economic bullshit. I think you are the one buying into economic bullshit of the Keynesian kind. Nobody is stopping these things from being free or affordable except us. And the people who get paid to teach, make shelters, grow food, and provide health care. I can't see too many of them working for nothing. Side: paid

How would these things, save maybe for love, become free? Free for the people who receive these things, not the people who produce these things. I'm not implying they should be worth nothing. Education and health care are both provided by teachers and doctors respectively, therefore you are saying that neither teachers nor doctors should have the right to charge for their services. Considering the higher and more complicated your job, the more taxes you pay, and the better you feel, the more work you're expected to do... teachers and doctors should be paid by the government from much of the taxes the government receives from their students and patients. It would be difficult to achieve, but it would assure that every receives the free things they need while the providers of these free things would be compensated justly. I think you are the one buying into economic bullshit of the Keynesian kind. Elaborate. Just because what I'm saying is similar to something you heard doesn't mean I didn't think it up by myself. I can't see too many of them working for nothing. They won't be working for nothing. Side: free
At my university, the amount of education increases every year. I think in the next few years, it would not be possible to study there. There are a lot of people who came from another cities, they have to pay for apartment as well and education, so our parents would work just for our education. It must be affordable for everyone.
