women i tell ya. the only thing we will ever understand about them is that we will never understand them! they do seem to be taking the feminist thing too far, not that i dont support equality. the push for women to become "equal" has passed its equilibrium, and no wmen are being left at a disadvantage in some things and that ha sno place in society. partiality to noone is the way past this. There are special tax benefits for businesses owned by women and minorities. There are special tax benefits for businesses hiring women and minorities. Tax benefits come out of your taxes, guys. The government takes YOUR money and subsidizes them. What kind of "equality" is that? Ever tried to get a construction contract with the city of Chicago? Good luck if you're a white male business owner. Then there is the ridiculous treatment of men in divorce courts. 70% of divorces are initiated by women, because they are just too unstable personalities to stay in a committed relationship (although keep whining about guys not wanting commitment). The truth is, women don't care about commitment when it's inconvenient for them. Ever seen a committed 18 year old? When they are the hottest and most desired, they have choices and don't care about commitment. Men at that age aren't much, they are still maturing and don't have money or careers yet. By late 20s girls are past prime and have to try much harder to get male attention. Men at that age have matured, have jobs and many are 6 or more years into a career. Tables turn and men have choices now. Why would they go and immediately get hitched at such great time just because some aging chick thinks it's time to settle down? Of course men don't. And that's when whining starts. And how about complete disregard for father's rights? If both parents are legally obligated to support the child, why is the woman the only one deciding whether to have him or not? Or in a more wholesome case, why do judges extend preferential treatment to mothers when it comes to custody? I say the white male is the group with least rights in American society. Yet it is being vilified and more rights are being taken away, not without the help of politicians who only care about votes. Side: Gone too far

I was hoping that you would say something here. Do you think that, in any ways, women have more rights then men? An example would be that if a woman does something to a man, the man must have provoked it. If a man so much as looks at a woman, they call it sexual abuse. Side: Gone too far
"Do you think that, in any ways, women have more rights then men?" Not really. I think where pretty equal right now. "if a woman does something to a man, the man must have provoked it. If a man so much as looks at a woman, they call it sexual abuse." Well that's kind of the way it is. Men and women are different. Different but equal (; Men should be nicer to women. Sure times change but that's no reason not to be a gentlemen. I will say that over the years men are starting to have less respect for women. Side: it worked

First, a definition and some exposition. "Feminism is both an intellectual commitment and a political movement that seeks justice for women and the end of sexism in all forms. However, there are many different kinds of feminism. Feminists disagree about what sexism consists in, and what exactly ought to be done about it; they disagree about what it means to be a woman or a man and what social and political implications gender has or should have. Nonetheless, motivated by the quest for social justice, feminist inquiry provides a wide range of perspectives on social, cultural, and political phenomena. Important topics for feminist theory and politics include: the body, class and work, disability, the family, globalization, human rights, popular culture, race and racism, reproduction, science, the self, sex work, and sexuality. " [1] One perspective on feminism and it's current concerns is found at Feministing, a leading feminist blog [2] A regular feature is the "Friday Feminist Fuck You" Recently, the Fuck You went out to Philip Garrido. Phillip Garrido, 58, kidnapped Jaycee Lee Dugard when she was just 11, and fathered two children while he was raping her and keeping her imprisoned in his backyard. She had her fist child at age 14. He was discovered when he led her two children onto the UC Berkeley campus to hand out religious literature and proselytize. [3] Horrific and bizarre. But here is an interesting question. Why is this a feminist issue. Any thoughts?
