Not My Type
Want exactly does this mean when applied to dating? How can one know what type a person is, without putting some effort into finding out? Anybody actually understand a woman? I've been told I'm not a gals type in record breaking time. Does this mean she isn't into guys? Help, help somebody help me understand the impossible, a woman.

It's not sad. It's personal choice. I don't like gals that look like supermodles. I like me a thick, sturdy woman like Meghan McCain. She's my type. Some things are more important, to some people, than others. To think that emotional stimulation is all that anyone needs to be happy, even if that's how you feel, is closed minded. You've said it in the description. Men will never understand women. They don't even understand themselves. Females are complex creatures. This may not apply to you but generally when a girl or guy says you're not their type it's just a nice way of saying they're not attracted to you. Side: Vain and insane
Not My Type means simply just that. They are not interested in you. Why ?, because you dont appeal to the eye pallet. etc maybe its that they prefer girls, maybe because you have bad breath or your clothes arent right or maybe because you are a walking piecing/tattoo display or maybe because its the easiest answer to give to avoid relationships at all. Maybe after knowing you a bit , it may be that they are not into the same things and have strong preferences for other things. W/E either way its an excuse we give because its nicer than saying "err yuk no thanks" Side: Vain and insane
It can mean different things. Sometimes, like Dacey said, it can be an excuse. However, Pineapple is right too. Some people like really muscular guys, others like thin guys. Some people like nerdy looking guys, some "emo" guys, etc. Basically, what it means depends on who says it. Some girls will truly mean that they simply don't see you that way, but aren't repulsed by you. Others actually do mean that they think you are disgusting. Not always true. A man may fall in love with someone who loves him, but not as much as he loves her, and maybe she loves someone else she can't have. Sometimes people have no idea what they feel. People also have personal issues that get in the way of their attraction and affection for one another. Although you're right about casual dating and such not being all that complex, there are many screwy dames and crazy fellas out there, and most of us are, at some point, among them. ;) Side: Vain and insane
