I know that in most people eyes just because they see a person dressed a certain way they think all is bad about that person when there are good people in the world even though they look odd.

Unfortunately, everyone has some amount of prejudice no matter who they are, what they do, what they believe. Prejudice is inherent in the human thought process. So, steretypes are simply the first thing people think about when presented with the question "what do you think about...". It just doesn't matter who or what the question refers to, the first thought will always likely be the prejudicial thought, like it or not. I don't think human nature can be changed.

I would like to say that there are many types of stereotypes. There are certain stereotypes of national character which are well known in Britain. For instance, the Irish are supposed to be great talkers, the Scots have a reputation for being careful with money and etc. In our country we have stereotypes about southern and western population. For example, southerns think that people of western side are more rude, it`s not true. However, westerns think that southerns are more cunning and swift. And these kinds of stereotypes will exist all the time I think.

Obviously certain people just stick to narrow believes refusing to accept the new ways! I can't stand them either. Especially where I stay. The people here have a ''Stereotypical'' Thinking based on colour, race especially region and more so Religion.

To categorize a person's character based on their race or region is completely unnecessary... We need to get rid of such thoughts. To believe all Muslims or all Pakistanis are terrorists or all Australians are descendants of convicts giving them a negative background. Or anything like that....

Stereotypes are inaccurate because there are exceptions to each one of the categories being talked about.
