A cause of the sea level rise is the global warming and the loss of land-based ice, such as glaciers and ice sheets, due to increased melting but this is not the only reason. One major cause is the change in the amount of water stored on land. This fact surprised the expert community with the conclusion that 42% of sea level rise (about 3 out of 8 cm) over the period 1961-2003 is due to reduced land water storage.

Global warming endangers our health and threatens other basic human needs. A warming climate can cause seawater to expand and ice over land to melt, both of which can cause a rise in sea level and the major cause of global warming is CO2. Our personal vehicles are the main cause of global warming but, as we know, there are a lot of companies that build electric vehicles and this means 0 emissions. In the future, the normal petrol and diesel engines will be replaced by the electric engines and the level of CO2 emissions will severely decrease. In conclusion, the state of Tuvalu will not sink :D

Everybody knows that the sea temperature is going up in a way that wasn't predicted and this should make us more worried for the Arctic and Antarctic fauna. Animals that live around those areas are very sensitive to small shifts in temperature which means that some animals lose their ability to swim or to hide and they become more susceptible to predators.
