Or are Americans just jealous of Brits? I believe that is the real question here.

Apparently a college education does not guarantee a well-paying job and success. God dangit.

If He could, we wouldn't be having this discussion. The thing about agreeing that He could is that it raises the question, "Why doesn't He?" He shan't, therefore He can't. We should be able to abolish the evil we created, and living life assuming (or hoping) God will eventually do something is a waste of time and energy.

No privacy. Seriously, everything you say and do is publicized, it's ridiculous. Going on a vacation to Hawaii friend of yours? FEAR NOT for your face in that tight bikini or revealing board shorts will be posted on the front page of 'GOSSIP GIRL' (not a real magazine). Your private life becomes public and that's no fun.

We're all knowledgeable, just in different ways. I don't think either side is lacking knowledge.

I agree that the situation is better now, but just because on paper we have "rights", does not mean everyone treats us fairly or nicely. In other words, people are still being judged by the color of their skin, and it's a topic we should still be talking about.

No, animals are meant to be eaten, not worn. And even then, not all animals have to be used as food.

Or some other rock song. No classical shiz for me, I want my wedding to be exciting and unique.

We kind of have to have children in order to continue human life, so no, it's not wrong. However, it is wrong to have children and neglect or abuse them. If you're going to have children, then at least care for them.

You should try to be spontaneous. People shouldn't be able to predict anything about you, because that'll make you interesting. You only live once anyway, so you might as well live a daring and exciting (unpredictable) life.

Very, very true. As the years go by, it becomes more and more difficult to endure this life and this society. I pretty much live by this scripture, even though I know I might lose my mind in the end.

Probably.

Besides, younger people still need more time to "grow" and understand the world better. It seems silly to allow hormonal, self-conscious, developing beings have a part in deciding the future of a country.

Well..

It's kinda like me in a way. I believe in God, so I suppose that makes me Christian. But I'm not Catholic or Lutheran or part of any of the other denominations. I'm just me. You can call me Christian, but that's a label that holds particular connotations and stereotypes (a Christian must be...). I'm simply a girl who loves God.

I think that's the same thing with Dana. More or less.

Better safe than sorry .

This is the age of technology. It would be pretty ridiculous to not teach technology in the AGE of technology. Let's be serious people.

We are one you and I

We are like earth and sky

One family under the sun

All the wisdom to lead

All the courage that you need

You will find when you see

We are one

I guess I'm just passionate about my beliefs. But I rarely start debates on religion, because I think it's pointless to argue about the same thing all the time.. but eh. :/

I completely agree. Atheists are usually the ones starting the arguments, and as Christians, we can't just sit idly and watch them mock Christianity. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I think that it's not that we're fixated on religion.. it's just that when you see someones state something you strongly believe against, or if you see someone bash your religion... you feel the urge to start an argument with them. At least in my case.

I wish there was a middle-ground.

I love anime a lot, because the storylines and characters are simply amazing. I cannot count how many anime characters I have crushes on.. honestly.

However, I prefer cartoons because they're funnier, mostly. I love to laugh, and cartoons never cease to get a chuckle out of me. My favorites right now are: Adventure Time and Regular Show. ^.^

The only reason I chose this side is because I've never watched any Batman movies, so I'm not sure what kind of skills he has, and whether they actually compare to Ironman's powers.
