Exactly.

With contraception and abortion being legal, woman are not obliged to get pregnant as a result of sex. It is their choice as to whether this occurs or not. A woman's body is ultimately hers. However, she should not be allowed to bind a man with obligation through a choice of hers.

Also, I am assuming that woman are competent life forms with the same intelligence and capability as men.

I agree.

The man should only be responsible if abortions are ILLEGAL or they are MARRIED.

Who put her in that state?

Who drank the substance?

Was she forced to drink a substance that could make her more likely to sleep around?

Rape is a violent act, if she agrees to it while drunk and doesn't have bruises and there wasn't a struggle, it was not rape.

No human has the right to using another person's body against their will. The same can be said about a fetus after 12 weeks of pregnancy. If it is in the woman, and she does not want it to grow in her, she has a RIGHT to have it taken out. It is her body.

Not murder, just removal. If God wants the child to survive, he'll find a way regardless of the fetus's removal.

I agree, in addition to this, I think a woman should have a choice of what grows in her body at all times. For example, if she had a parasite, isn't it reasonable for her to take medication to get rid of it?

I do not think pregnancy is that much different. A fetus shares a lot in common with a parasite.

I believe it is a person's right to choose what grows in their body, or does not grow in their body. Obligation only comes after it is born, not before.

Yes, however, is getting a girl drunk due to everyone else doing it any different from having sex because everyone else is doing it? The context doesn't matter. Peer pressure is a reason, not an excuse.

I like the affection dogs give you. While cats are less maintenance, they reward you with less love. The payoff for taking care of a dog cannot be described with words.

You sorta have to. You don't hate people without a reason unless you are being ridiculous. If they are doing something horrible, make it clear to them what is making you dislike them, otherwise, they will never know.

1 point

No. Even if they are family, they can still be an asshole. How they are related to you doesn't make their personality any different.

No. They came from a common ancestor of apes down the line. There is no theory that says we evolved from apes, that is a common misconception. We did not evolve from a ancestor of the apes.

Yes, but she put herself in that state. The thing is that it is only rape if she is not conscious. Even when I am tired, I know what I want and do not want.

I believe they will find a cure, however, the cure will not be perfect and will need a lot of work in order to deal with side effects.

There is a reason why creatures die.

If a girl is competent enough to take a substance that will make her more willing to have intercourse with someone, she is fully responsible for her actions while intoxicated.

1 point

To me it doesn't make sense, unless the couple had an arrangement ahead of time. A girl should have enough foresight to decide this.

1 point

No.

Here is why, if it is purely the choice of the woman whether to keep a child or not, then men shouldn't be responsible for child support. That isn't fair.

If a woman can kill the child or keep it, as a choice, men shouldn't be responsible for child support if they have no say.

If woman do not have a say, and it is illegal to kill children, then men are responsible for child support.

If the man promised to support the baby as it was conceived or during the pregnancy, then it is the man's responsibility to support it.

If the man has responsibility due to an abortion occurring or not, then they should have a say. If they do not, then they should be freed of all consequences.

However, if the woman does not want the baby then it is her choice. If a man does not want the baby, then he shouldn't have to pay child support unless he promised her this in order to have sex with her.

1 point

No. Unless you discuss it ahead of time, sex is simply sex. Sex nowadays is mean to be pleasurable, it is a basic biological drive. The existence of condoms and contraceptives is proof of this.

Sex IS NOT consent to pregnancy!
