There's no in between, but I think every case is different. For instance, I think that most kids don't really NEED one. They would mostly just use it to play candy crush or something. I think the kids that DO need one are the ones that play sports or have stuff to do after school. They might need a phone to call their parents if they need it. In this case, they might do well with a phone that will only call their parents and 911, if such a phone even exists.

What, do you unlock it or something? I guess I'll have to look it up. The Internet has an answer for everything these days 😉

How did you do that????? I don't know how to go below 50 characters so I'm writing this.

Good question. When I said learn, I meant understand. So if you learned it, you would be able to explain how to do it. Tactile learners actually have to DO the worksheet to get it. They can't just look at the paper and get it.

I've never heard anything about the learning style being affected by the number of times it was done, heard, or seen.

Imagining it is visual because if you are visual, you have to see something to get it. So when you imagine something, your mind is "seeing" it, thus helping it comprehend a story or lesson.

Tactile just means that you have to do something to learn, as I mentioned earlier. You also remember what was done rather then what you've seen or heard. For example, to learn how to put together a computer, tactile learners usually want to throw away the directions and do it themselves.

Like I said, when you hear it then picture it, your mind is making a picture for you to "see."

I looked up situational, and from what I've gathered, does it mean you learn from any of the above?

Lol. Thanks, I get that a lot. Oh, this has to be 50 characters so I'm writing this right now.

Three men work at a construction sight, and they look out from the top of a beam while opening their lunches. They are about three stories high. The first man takes out chicken. He groans loudly, saying, " I have gotten chicken EVERY day for the past ten years. If I get chicken one more day, I will jump off this beam." The next man takes out his lunch, and sees he got chicken. He groans loudly and proclaims he will jump off the beam if he gets chicken one more time. The third man takes out his lunch, and sees he got chicken. He groans and says the same thing the other men say, that he will jump off the beam if he gets chicken one more time. The next day the men climb the beam and see what they got. The first name got chicken. He sticks to his word and jumps off the beam. He is immediately killed. The next man sees he has gotten chicken. He jumps off the beam and is killed. The third man, lo and behold, has gotten chicken. He jumps off the beam and is killed. A few days later, at the funeral, the wife of the first man cries, "If only I had known he didn't like chicken, I would have packed him something different!" The wife of the second man says the same thing. Everyone waits for the wife of the third man's speech. She says, "Don't look at me, he packs his own lunch!" I found this on a website and do not take any credit for this joke.

I thought it was amusing where she puts her hands up the first time, but I kinda felt bad when she falls on her face.

1 point

I don't think they are dumbing down, but I've noticed that there are more and more dumb games out there, violent too. Five Nights of Freddy's is a particular dislike. I've never liked jump scares, and I think it's kinda dumb to play a game where animal robots try to, uh, kill you. What happened to innocent games, like PacMan? No, I'm serious. Mario and PacMan seem like they are long gone.

I meant that the show could be so annoying and possibly teaching kids annoying things (To clear it up, I'm not for or against SpongeBob) and today people might sign petitions. I don't know. I created this debate for fun, to see what people think of SpongeBob.

Of course. I don't agree with the songs "hypnotizing" you either, unless our minds can magically play the songs backwards, but who knows?

Not too many things tragic happened, (Yet :( ) but I remember the day I lost the spelling bee in fourth grade.Yeah, I know, I'm a wimp, but I had studied sooooo much. I got my word and spelled it incorrectly. The next person spelled it right, and I was out. I'm probably being over dramatic, but I felt like I was going to faint. I had kept it together, but then I lost control. I started crying. People noticed, and the usual "give her space" happened. Everyone was trying to comfort me, but it made it even more embarrasing. The worst part was when it turned out the winner was sitting in front of me. He looked back, and we were face to face, with me and my red eyes. (From the tears, don't get any ideas) and I wanted the ground to swallow me up. Soo embarrassing!!!

Listen, the first thing in going to say is that it's tough to debate on religious debates. But, with that being said, Im going to request something. Please give me the reasons you think God is imaginary and I will argue my point as best as I can. This can count as an argument, too: Last night I prayed and asked God to help me read his Word more. I then remembered this website. I went on it to see if I had any notifications. I took care of that stuff then looked for open challenges. Yours popped up, and I clicked on it. When I was typing, I realized I would have to look at his Word for answers. You can say it was coincidence, but I have a bigger theory.

I'm SO sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I guess I kind of forgot about this website. Write back to me if you have time, and I'll be glad to talk to you. I'll try to check this daily. Please don't think I ignored you.

1 point

Maybe not at first, but if you keep playing it, you will. We can't help thinking about what we expose our mind to, even if it's not something to be proud of.

1 point

That wouldn't have an impact on them? I know I would be changed(just a BIT) if I had to do someone's bidding.

1 point

I would want to be able to speed read. Not like the speed of light, but more just scanning the page quickly, like, I would be done reading what I just typed in one or two seconds. Oh, and I want to be able to comprehend it better.

The Bible says that men and women were created each for a different purpose. He isn't going to strike you with lightning because you're in love with someone of the same sex. He loves you soooooooo much that no matter what you do, he could never NOT love you.

Yes, I mean you can type things you would normally say to get someone to convert to your religion, as long as you're not harassing them.

Oh thanks. I thought they were watching me or something...

1 point

Actually, I was allowed to watch a lot of cartoons when I was young. It's just that this particular one was dumb to my mom.

1 point

Well, I don't really have anyone to smack even if I wanted to, except for my brother, but that just gives him more leverage against me. So I'm out.

1 point

You're right. We shouldn't make people speak English just because they live somewhere. It's like saying, oh, you're in my house, so you have do only eat what I eat. Seriously.

2 points

Not really. Ever heard of forgive and forget? Plus, when you hold a grudge, you have to be like, oh yeah, I'm mad at them.

1 point

Excuse me, but some people think giving someone positive reinforcement and forgiving them is the best way. And for the four people being a tribe, they probably don't stay there for two whole days, and they believe people come into the world as good, which makes sense, AND I'm sure they give he man or woman food. It would be sort of ironic if while they're giving him kindness, they're starving him. And yes, sometimes misdeeds are a cry for help.

1 point

No thanks. In my life, at least, that doesn't get me anywhere no matter who is bothering me. Anyways when I DO (I really try not to) I always feel regret afterwards, even to my brother.

Sportyfun1(84) Clarified

I'm saying he wants us to "walk with him" and do the right thing HE wants. But we always have the option to do something evil in the eyes of The Lord, don't we.

2 points

Actually, when we go to heaven we get "our hearts cleaned." So, we can't sin when we go to heaven. We have a new form where there is no aging and sin. If we kept our own hearts, no one would be in heaven. Yet another thing you just have to believe.

1 point

OK, but I still say practice forgiveness. It's just my opinion.

1 point

So you're saying if TWO shows or programs were canceled, the universe would be a place without any chaotic behavior?

2 points

I'm pretty sure free will was like NOT being controlled or forced to do something God wants. He says he WANTS us to be with him and do the right thing.

1 point

So you are saying right now that you can't believe what you want and put your faith in whatever you want whenever you want? Plus, you probably wouldn't be thinking that you were controlled right now if you were. God wants us to walk with him as a friend, not some dumb animal he controls whenever he feels like it.

1 point

Actually for one thing, yeah, because he and his friends come inside and he annoys me, if I try to argue he hits me, and if I ignore him he just talks about how horrible I am to his friends. That's not what your dealing with here?

1 point

I didn't mean going to jail as punishment. I meant using them as your personal punching bag. And you're not looking at them or doing anything when you pester them? Even giving a dirty look can satisfy them. Weird, because when I ignore my little brother, he always stops. I don't want to be mean, but my little brother is just as bad as the "people" you talk about. You could even say, " I don't know why you're even trying," and then walk away. Plus, they're just having another hopeless attempt to get at you.

I hope they stop bothering you though. (That wasn't sarcastic.)

1 point

Yeah, because I was eight, my mother banned me from watching it because it was "pointless"

1 point

Yes, you're right, I go by Farenheit. How did you know I'm from the US though?

1 point

Yeah, because I argue with my brother all the time, and where do you think that gets me?

2 points

Still, you are going to be known as the person who hits. It's not going to be pretty. Plus, the people who disrespect you might be jealous. It would be better to talk it out and even make a few friends. I know they might not be bundles of joy, but it's better than slapping them. Also, there is something called walking away. Hope this helps!

Sportyfun1(84) Clarified

God won't hate you from what you do. Try to crack open a Bible and see his reasons for not liking that. God created men and women each for a different purpose. I am against it, but I don't hate gay people.

2 points

Um, telling someone your religion isn't the same as forcing it on them. We don't make them choose. It's their choice and only theirs. We are only telling them. Plus, you're saying we shouldn't have missionaries to fly to places that don't have Bibles? How then are they going to learn about Him?

2 points

Yes, because God loves us all and if we are Christians, we can FEEL him. We should spread that feeling to everyone we know.

1 point

The chicken because from the very beginning, when Adam named the animals, the chicken was just there. Then it laid the eggs, which laid the eggs, which laid the eggs, and so forth.

2 points

Yes we should, because the Lord loves them, and we really should too.

Sportyfun1(84) Clarified
1 point

It's for your sake in that you don't have to hold grudges over every person you know. Believe me, you don't want to be the person who always holds grudges. I have a neighbor who does that, and I just gave up coming in any contact in her.

Sportyfun1(84) Clarified
1 point

The Lord will punish them anyways. It's not our place to judge or hand out punishments. Plus, if they know what they're doing doesn't bother you, they will stop.

1 point

Yes, but you could lose friends that way, and how would you like it if you said something mean and someone slapped you? And please don't say you never do. Everyone does.

1 point

Yes, because the Lord wants us to forgive, even when it's hard. It's true, guys, that everyone makes mistakes. Our list of all the bad things we do could be ten times bigger than the list of them. If someone won't stop every time you forgive them, talk it out with them. There's a cool new word called motivation. It means the reason behind why someone does something. They could have stress and then take it out on you. Who knows? Talking and forgiving is better that mentally or physically hurting them, because two wrongs don't make a right.

2 points

Yes, you said he CAN. But have you been forced to do something {spirit-wise} that you didn't want to do?

2 points

Sorry, but that's not what we mean. All knowing just means that he knows everything, like when you sit down and when you stand up. He knows when you're sad and when you're happy, and when you're hurt or wounded. Plus, let me ask you this: have you been recently forced to do something you didn't want to do {spirit-wise} by God? Good luck and I hope you learn more about our Amazing God. {I wasn't being sarcastic. I really meant it.}

2 points

No, because you still have the CHOICE to do something, whether it be right or wrong. We are not slaves, carrying out our Master's will. We are instead his brothers and sisters doing a favor to spread The Lord around the world. So please don't say we don't have a choice under God, because we do. I could run to the nearest store and rob something if I wanted to. {I'm not...} So could you.{Please don't...} So, in conclusion, we have the choice to do something right or wrong, it's just that God loves us too much to see us fall.

1 point

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm just wondering if boys really do do that. It's not something to be embarrassed of, my little brother {he's seven} has three stuffed animals.

1 point

I would read it too, but two wrongs don't make a right. Remember that.

1 point

No offense, but it seems... different. If you're serious, I'm not trying to judge or be mean. Everyone is unique. I just want to know what other people think on this matter. I couldn't think of any other topics anyway.

1 point

I think that ninjas are better because they can blend in with their surroundings, are very swift, like wind, (unlike pirates), and they use awesome weapons and old Chinese cultural blades. Plus, I don't think Teenage Mutant Pirate Turtles is a show.

1 point

Please, killing babies is the same as killing a twenty year old. God sees them both as humans, except that babies are more helpless. Who knows, one of them could've grown up to be the next president. This undermines my argument, but women have a choice too, so back off haters.

1 point

Man please calm down, and please don't swear. Some people like red, some like blue. Some like popcorn, and some like pretzels. This was made for a fun poll, so can you just sit down and respect other people's opinions? By the way, I am talking to GuitaristDog, just to make that clear.

1 point

I looooooove popcorn. Think about it: popped corn dipped in melted butter, and a sprinkle of salt on the top. I love pretzels too, but popcorn takes the cake. BTW, I have seen cake flavored popcorn. Seriously.

1 point

Amen. Telling a little white lie or murdering is the same in God's eyes: sin. It's like a big bear and a small bear. They are both bears. Like Atrag said, it's definitely the religion of choice.

1 point

Yeah, but if you keep your eyes on what's REALLY important, the things people say won't bother you too much. AND, you would see what they really think of you and which things to change about yourself. Changing isn't getting a haircut or stuff like that, it's about being more open to ideas or to stop interrupting.

1 point

I would read it because then I can see what it look like to the rest of the world. I would be sad, yes, but maybe they have a point in there. If it's something serious, then I could talk it out with them. Of course, "it doesn't matter what people think of you," but there could possibly be a chance of self improvement in there. Just remember, don't change just because others don't think of you as perfect.

1 point

Ok, so it contradicts itself? How about this: it took over a thousand years for the men to write the bible, right? Well, does it not fit together? I mean, you can see a cycle going on throughout the book, especially the Old Testament. The cycle goes like this: sin, oppression, repentance, and deliverance. And yes, God is so complex that we can't understand him, and we humans have a nasty habit of just simply not believing anything we can't understand.

1 point

Yes, because, (and I know this sounds cheesy,) but I can feel him working in my life. Yes there is suffering, but this makes us stronger. Think about it this way: if there was no sin and everyone was happy because that's how God made us, then we would feel that we don't need him. One time as a kid, I had seen this scary pop up. I was freaked out. When I had to take a shower, I literally cried. My mom prayed for me. Right when I was going to go in the shower, I cried, "Lord, you're with me." As soon as I said that, I wasn't afraid anymore. This is just another thing you have to believe.
