It's illegal not to put your kids into school of some sort, yet it can be extremely difficult to meet those requirements. Some kids have to take several buses just to get to school everyday. Even homeschooling is difficult. You have to provide all the materials, and your children still have to be able to meet certain academic standards based on what you're teaching them. Our government sure doesn't make it easy to school all the children in this country, but they still demand it. I don't expect it to be any different for anything else.

To me, it just seems like you are desperately trying to find some way to be able to say that rape isn't always wrong. I'm more worried about that than anything. You shouldn't be looking for reasons to not use the word rape. Also, using the bible in a discussion about rape is stupid. I hate when rape is used as a plot device in works of fiction.

I think she's pretty boring. I have grown up with "controversial" "artists" such as Madonna, Marilyn Manson, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, and currently there are folks like Die Antwoord on this planet. What about this particular little girl is so shocking? She's being just about as dumb and drunk and self-centered as the other 21-year olds her age. I expect this sort of thing. She came from the Disney Machine, which doesn't exactly help. But I'm an antitheist with no moral compass, so my perception of normal is clearly very skewed.

No. YouTube. That is all.

I haven't read it, but I will say yes anyway. I generally dislike Bruce Wayne, so my default answer regarding most Batman related media is to dislike it as well.

My husband and I noticed that on TV, people always walk away from their lockers with the door wide open. This seems to happen in nearly every teen or kids show with lockers. It's irritating. How the hell does that happen? They just don't close the lockers. They unlock them and open them, but then don't close them. How were they shut and locked in the first place if they never close them??! This is like a chicken or the egg type thing!!

Gaaaaad!

I always thought everyone would like the 1D FOREVER. Now, I just don't even. Know.

YouTube wins by default since it's pretty much always up, either on my phone or computer. Besides that, I use Craigslist more than any other site. Whether I'm looking for a new couch, or still trying to find a new job, or checking out how terrible the housing market is, I use Craigslist.

I watched a lot of MA rated shows. I turned out remotely decent.

Just the idea of world peace?

Not liking Evanescence does not actually equate to enjoying "European classical music," drinking wine, or smoking cigars. You're on a debate website. If you wanted everyone to agree with you, it would have been a slightly better idea to go to a fan forum or something similar.

I know they're private, but dagnabbit, if I had the ability to make them repeal this, I would. I know of so many people who were able to get college scholarships and job opportunities just by being members of the Boy Scouts. It's unfair that someone who wants to help others and would most definitely be deserving of this opportunity is turned away, because he doesn't believe in god.

I have to agree with you, unfortunately, that no one can really force them to allow atheists since they are a private group. Yay. V_V

I would love to see Tennant kickin' it with Matt Smith. :D

I married my husband after being acquaintances then friends for a total of six years. He liked me the entire time that I liked him. For quite a while, we were both to shy or scared to say anything. If you really are as good of friends as you say, you need to tell her how you feel. Either something will happen, or she'll let you know that she isn't interested in that way. Then you can find someone who is.

Not far enough yet, as long as it's about the history of anything Nazi related or antiques.

Wit used to be really popular. There are author's like Oscar Wilde who made that a huge thing. Now, gross-out jokes, and anything "offensive" are what's considered popular. There are a lot of women with wit. (Maria Bamford!)

That one "funny" guy's real name.

The Artful Dodger. I'd probably end up joining him.

Pretzels. I would, in fact, actually like to be eating one of those giant soft pretzels covered in nacho cheese right now.

No. We have a Gregorian Calendar, so there are leap days included. So, to clarify further, nope.
