They are already allowed to do that. I don't know any women that get mad at men for not sitting down

Hey Dermot. I think we have had this discussion before and because of that, I think you already know my position. However, because I am uncertain of our having that discussion I feel inclined to ask what I would normally ask in this circumstance, although I am sure I would already know the answer to said question. If Christianity were true, would you believe it?

Its called the boy scouts for a reason. If girls want to be a part of this kind of thing so badly, join the girl scouts or stop complaining

What civil right does a girl have to join the boy scouts? If all the things they have (girl scouts, girls sports teams, etc.) isn't enough, when will they stop?

I see your title is an opinion. Also, isn't speculation just a fancy word for opinion?

I think guns are already restricted enough as they are. For example, anything faster than a semi automatic gun is already banned from civilian use. We can't even use attachments that make a gun fully automatic. I see what you're getting at though with the gun restrictions though. However, once we start restricting things, it will be a slippery slope on what gets restricted and people will still be able to get things illegally

This could just be because at the moment, my brain is operating at just above idiot level, but what is the difference between flipped learning and just normal homeschooling?

I apologize. I don't think I was clear earlier. I wanted more than just his lawyer to say something about him. Find me more people that make the claim you do and I probably might believe you

I didn't say it had to be specifically had to be his own lawyer. If he says other stuff, I'd like to see it but if other people are saying similar things I'd also like to see that

I'm sure his lawyer is credible and as such, I'll take what he says into account. However, I don't think one person is enough to justify your premise that Alex jones is not to be trusted

1 point

I think if you can show evidence that he is what you say he is, then I would probably believe you. At the moment, I am inclined to believe that he i just a normal person who just wants the truth to be told to the people

As much as mass shootings suck, we can't have law abiding citizens not be able to defend themselves. If we repeal the second amendment, it will be a slippery slope on what it is people want to ban. People have the right to self-preservation even if its with the use of a gun

Compulsory or not, people are still free to skip classes regardless of the consequences. Its actually because of the consequences that I wouldn't recommend skipping classes, but as I said they are still completely free to do so

1 point

I don't think people should be skipping class, but its still their choice to do that and they are completely free to do so

Except that your first reply to me was a semantic argument essentially saying that I was equating terms. Why is it a problem if I ask you to clarify something for me?

I would respectfully ask that you not deflect the question. What would you say is a reliable chain of reasoning?

1 point

I would say its earned. Some people are never going to give you respect no matter what you do but thats just their problem

How much of the story would you say is made up? What would you say a reliable chain of reasoning is?

When you talk about finding evidence for a soul, are you talking about physical evidence for a soul or just evidence in general?

1 point

I would say we are the creation of a divine being. Science has developed tremendously, especially over the past century. However, I don't think that means that religion gets snuffed out so to speak. I would say science deals with the physical aspects of our existence while religion deals with the metaphysical aspects of our existence

1 point

I think that we should be able to choose who we serve even if that means we don't serve particular people based on our beliefs religious or otherwise

I think if they can perform up to the standards set by the military to be in that position, then they can join it

I'm not sure what this has to do with what I asked. If there were evidence that a particular religion was true would you follow it?

Just out of curiosity, where would you say that something like Islam and Christianity teach a closed mindset? What about something like Buddhism with open opinions?
