As terrorist attacks keep increasing in America, Hillary says let more unvetted Muslims in

Can you imagine how weak the Democrat party has become when it has to do with protecting Americans from terrorists?

They scream when Trump says we need to stop any unvetted refugees, in terrorist regions, from coming into America, until we know what is going on!

What Trump is saying makes PERFECT COMMON SENSE! But Democrats see Muslims as future votes, and there priorities focus on elections rather than American lives.

So Democrats decieve as always, painting Trump as hating all Muslims, hating all Mexicans, etc. etc. etc.
The fools in the Democrat party are willing to say anything for purposes of elections. Hillary called 25% of voters as being DEPLORABE AND IRREDEEMABLE! Can you imagine the eletist arrogance to say that 50% of Trump supporters are DEPLORABLE AND IRREDEEMBLE?

The Democrat party has truly lost any credibility.

As usual, FromWithin is full of shit. All refugees must go through a very thorough vetting process. Don't take my word for it, learn about the process refuges have to go through from someone who actually works and deals with the issue, Scott Hicks, an immigration lawyer involved in the process.

"Most of my friends know I practice Immigration law. As such, I have worked with the refugee community for over two decades. This post is long, but if you want actual information about the process, keep reading.

I can not tell you how frustrating it is to see the misinformation and outright lies that are being perpetuated about the refugee process and the Syrian refugees. So, here is a bit of information from the real world of someone who actually works and deals with this issue.

The refugee screening process is multi-layered and is very difficult to get through. Most people languish in temporary camps for months to years while their story is evaluated and checked.

First, you do not get to choose what country you might be resettled into. If you already have family (legal) in a country, that makes it more likely that you will go there to be with family, but other than that it is random. So, you can not simply walk into a refugee camp, show a document, and say, I want to go to America. Instead, the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees) works with the local authorities to try to take care of basic needs. Once the person/family is registered to receive basic necessities, they can be processed for resettlement. Many people are not interested in resettlement as they hope to return to their country and are hoping that the turmoil they fled will be resolved soon. In fact, most refugees in refugee events never resettle to a third country. Those that do want to resettle have to go through an extensive process.

Resettlement in the U.S. is a long process and takes many steps. The Refugee Admissions Program is jointly administered by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) in the Department of State, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and offices within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) within DHS conducts refugee interviews and determines individual eligibility for refugee status in the United States.

We evaluate refugees on a tiered system with three levels of priority.

First Priority are people who have suffered compelling persecution or for whom no other durable solution exists. These individuals are referred to the United States by UNHCR, or they are identified by the U.S. embassy or a non-governmental organization (NGO).

Second priority are groups of “special concern” to the United States. The Department of State determines these groups, with input from USCIS, UNHCR, and designated NGOs. At present, we prioritize certain persons from the former Soviet Union, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Iran, Burma, and Bhutan.

Third priority are relatives of refugees (parents, spouses, and unmarried children under 21) who are already settled in the United States may be admitted as refugees. The U.S.-based relative must file an Affidavit of Relationship (AOR) and must be processed by DHS.

Before being allowed to come to the United States, each refugee must undergo an extensive interviewing, screening, and security clearance process conducted by Regional Refugee Coordinators and overseas Resettlement Support Centers (RSCs). Individuals generally must not already be firmly resettled (a legal term of art that would be a separate article). Just because one falls into the three priorities above does not guarantee admission to the United States.

The Immigration laws require that the individuals prove that they have a “well-founded fear,” (another legal term which would be a book.) This fear must be proved regardless of the person’s country, circumstance, or classification in a priority category. There are multiple interviews and people are challenged on discrepancies. I had a client who was not telling the truth on her age and the agency challenged her on it. Refugees are not simply admitted because they have a well founded fear. They still must show that they are not subject to exclusion under Section 212(a) of the INA. These grounds include serious health matters, moral or criminal matters, as well as security issues. In addition, they can be excluded for such things as polygamy, misrepresentation of facts on visa applications, smuggling, or previous deportations. Under some circumstances, the person may be eligible to have the ground waived.

At this point, a refugee can be conditionally accepted for resettlement. Then, the RSC sends a request for assurance of placement to the United States, and the Refugee Processing Center (RPC) works with private voluntary agencies (VOLAG) to determine where the refugee will live. If the refugee does have family in the U.S., efforts will be made to resettle close to that family.

Every person accepted as a refugee for planned admission to the United States is conditional upon passing a medical examination and passing all security checks. Frankly, there is more screening of refugees than ever happens to get on an airplane. Of course, yes, no system can be 100% foolproof. But if that is your standard, then you better shut down the entire airline industry, close the borders, and stop all international commerce and shipping. Every one of those has been the source of entry of people and are much easier ways to gain access to the U.S. Only upon passing all of these checks (which involve basically every agency of the government involved in terrorist identification) can the person actually be approved to travel.

Before departing, refugees sign a promissory note to repay the United States for their travel costs. This travel loan is an interest-free loan that refugees begin to pay back six months after arriving in the country.

Once the VOLAG is notified of the travel plans, it must arrange for the reception of refugees at the airport and transportation to their housing at their final destination.

This process from start to finish averages 18 to 24 months, but I have seen it take years.

The reality is that about half of the refugees are children, another quarter are elderly. Almost all of the adults are either moms or couples coming with children. Each year the President, in consultation with Congress, determines the numerical ceiling for refugee admissions. For Fiscal Year (FY) 2016, the proposed ceiling is 85,000. We have been averaging about 70,000 a year for the last number of years. (Source: Refugee Processing Center)

Over one-third of all refugee arrivals (35.1 percent, or 24,579) in FY 2015 came from the Near East/South Asia—a region that includes Iraq, Iran, Bhutan, and Afghanistan.

Another third of all refugee arrivals (32.1 percent, or 22,472) in FY 2015 came from Africa.

Over a quarter of all refugee arrivals (26.4 percent, or 18,469) in FY 2015 came from East Asia — a region that includes China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. (Source: Refugee Processing Center)

Finally, the process in Europe is different. I would be much more concerned that terrorists are infiltrating the European system because they are not nearly so extensive and thorough in their process."

The weakness in your reasoning is that, despite all the background checks and profiling terrorists will infiltrate into the States along with the rest of the 'economic immigrants' and many more ''well vetted Muslims'' will be radicalized and become terrorists.

If someone injected you and your family with a serum containing cancer cells and tried to rationalize their act of recklessness by explaining that the solution was not entirely carcinogenic would you accept their explanation while lying on the operating theatre having a cancerous tumour removed from your brain?

It only takes one terrorist to cause death and destruction on a massive scale.

It's naive sanctimonious liberals such as you who have caused the immigrant/terrorist crisis in Europe and who are building the platform for the Muslim terrorists to increase their bloody Jihad on America.

Fools such as you are going to be responsible for the increased frequencies and severity of Muslim atrocities the United States, but will duck under the bed when the spaghetti really hits the fan.

Why do 'bleeding heart' idiots like you continue to peddle your misguided rhetoric even though it's nonsense has been proven wrong by the atrocities of the Muslim terrorists?

Wake up and smell what it is you're shovelling.

"despite all the background checks and profiling terrorists will infiltrate into the States along with the rest of the 'economic immigrants'"

Like Scott said, "no system can be 100% foolproof. But if that is your standard, then you better shut down the entire airline industry, close the borders, and stop all international commerce and shipping. Every one of those has been the source of entry of people and are much easier ways to gain access to the U.S."

I understand that there is some risk involved, but I'm willing to accept that risk if it means helping tens of thousands of people. I'm not so selfish that I think tens of thousands of people should suffer just so I can feel slightly safer. 92 people have died from Muslim terrorist attacks in the United States in the past 10 years. During that same time 220 people were killed by Cows. I guess we should ban all cows from the country, because they are more of a threat to our national security.

"and many more ''well vetted Muslims'' will be radicalized and become terrorists."

And what's going to make them want to become terrorists? It's demonizing all Muslims for the actions of a small minority of them. The radical Muslims probably watch videos of Republicans leaders and people like Trump, and think "These guys are doing an excellent job of making Muslims want to join us." I wouldn't be surprised if they used them as recruitment videos.

One of our greatest allies in defeating radical Muslims is peaceful Muslims. They are the ones who are more likely to convince the radical ones to change their ways. The radical Muslims aren't going to listen to non-Muslims. Republicans not only marginalize one of our greatest allies, but they also turn them against us, making the problem worse instead of better.

Learning the facts is way more time consuming than going to Fox News and Breitbart.

As usual FromWithin doesn't provide any proof.

All you have to do is look at Europe and all the problems they have with Muslims. It's really easy; just open your eyes.

The Muslim problem in Europe has reached crisis point with even Auntie Angela Merkel apologizing for getting it so wrong by permitting one million middle eastern immigrants into Germany during last year alone.

Too late was the cry.

Merkel's Party has suffered ''a bitter defeat'' at the recent Berlin elections. I wonder why, any ideas?

This arrogant fool has now recognized the deadly threat which Muslims represent, not only to the German Nation which she betrayed but to the whole of Europe.

Everyone, including the dog's in the streets knew the shit with these flea ridden beggars with their pots and pans would bring.

Everyone that is except the liberal European politicians led by the eye-watering fool Merkel.

The poor Germans will be clearing up her mess for generations to come.

The German jails are jammed solid with Muslim criminals having been found guilty of offenses ranging from gang rape to armed robbery.

Only the British have had the courage to defy the German Frau and break away from the Deutschland dominated single market of the E.U.

Yanks, take note of what has happened in Europe. If you do not, then you deserve to suffer the same fate.

If your only evidence is "open your eyes", then you are lacking a lot of legitimacy. If it was that obvious, it wouldn't be hard to provide a legitimate argument.

To me the issue is very SIMPLE and LOGICAL. To allow anyone into your country who clearly has beliefs and values that oppose or conflict with your country's values, beliefs, constitution etc., is preposterous. Sure, it might not make a difference when it's only a few hundred or a few thousand in a country of 330 million. But as in any other country, once the number of those increase to the hundreds of thousands to millions, you are now going to face a huge problem. A massive group of people who now live in your country are uprising against the very fabric of your country's constitution that they might even change it for to appease them.

It's not that one side is right or one side is wrong. I'm not saying that Americans are right and muslims are wrong or that muslims are right and american (non-muslims) are wrong. It's just a simple truth and logical fact that the more people there are of a particular belief or way of life, the greater the conflict will be as their numbers increase and power/influence in society increase.

Not sure why the so-called most brilliant people in the countries (gov't, politicians, etc) don't know this. It's my gift of logic. It's so simple. Not sure why people can't see it.

To dumb it down, try this experiment:

Orange Country loves oranges and everything about oranges. Avocados do not like oranges, do not like the way of oranges, but they want to enter your country for a better life. So, Orange Country decides to let Avocados in by the tens of thousands upwards to millions, fully knowing that Avocados will not adhere to any Orange way of life and orange values. Instead, Avocados follow their own set of rules and will honor those instead. What do you think will happen in Orange country once Avocados number in the millions? Tens of millions? 50%+ of the population? You think that Orange Country will be a peaceful place by that time? It's not hard to figure out the outcome.

Who gets to decide what "beliefs and values" get let in?

Serious question.

I'd argue that you are demonstrating that you do not share this country's belief sand values, does that mean you should be kicked out?

Would you allow those who's stated goals are to overthrow their host counties way of life? I wouldn't.
