No, the husband isn't the head of the wife. I believe every person has a level of autonomy over themselves, and in a relationship, the 2 people involved should be on equal footing. Unless, the husband is his wife's boss at work, then the husband shouldn't have more power than the wife.

23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." (Genesis 2:21-24)

So which is it, is the man above the woman, or is she taken from his side?

Cause women carry children and do most of the work and women should have the right to do what they want and no person has power over the other since the rule of law
