No, they do not "deserve" amnesty, they did nothing to "deserve" it. However, amnesty is what they will receive because logistically speaking, it is far too hard to deport millions of people and it is even harder to make sure they stay out of the USA.

It takes one to know one, doesn't it? I'm actually quite Conservative. I was just helping the world by trying to educate you on the definition of a Liberal. You would educate me? But don't you yourself have to have any modicum of education to educate another person?

The USA negotiates with many many countries who have threatened it. The USA is currently in a coalition with many countries in the Middle East whom in years prior have declared religious war on the USA. This is not a first and it will most likely not be the last. The US needs to be the "bigger man" and repair relationships it has with countries across the world.

Yes. Cuba is the most underdeveloped nation in the Americas and it is devastating to the see the level of poverty and the level of isolation which this nation has experienced in the last 5 decades. Now that diplomatic ties are finally open again, tourism will increase in Cuba which will not only result in an increase in revenue for Cuba with which the country and its meager and petty infrastructure can be repaired but will also result in a large influx of Cuban culture to the Americas and to the world.

Remember the Emancipation Proclamation? Or the New Deal? Both of those were Executive Orders which at the time were thought to be dictatorial and thought to be overstepping the bounds of the presidency. Both the Emancipation Proclamation and the New Deal had very vocal critics who claimed that these Executive Orders would be the downfall of the democratic system of the United States. We all know how much their predictions came true. I believe that sometimes, a strong executive action is necessary when something needs to get done and gathering bi-partisan support is far too difficult or even impossible. President Obama is not overstepping his authority with his use of Executive Action, he is in fact following a precedent set by many great presidents before him and setting a precedent for many presidents to come.

You dumb piece of shit, a liberal is a some one who promotes a liberal view on politics and law and societal issues. All liberals are not exactly one kind of person who can be classified and grouped into one well definable category. Your argument makes no sense whatsoever. Why don't you log off and go get an education?

Yes, there should most definitely be a charge for false accusations of rape. People's lives are upturned by accusations of a rape. Their community shuns them, their employer shuns them and many times dismisses them. Their own family many times turns against them. The motto of innocent until proven guilty is a legal standard but most definitely not a social standard. People are judged by their communities and the public even before a verdict is issued. Now, if the person if convicted of rape and it is proven that they truly committed the rape, then they deserve to be excommunicated from their community for the heinous and atrocious act which they have communicated. However, if the person has not committed the act and is innocent but yet they are subjected to all the emotional and sometimes physical trauma of being accused of rape, then they deserve retribution for they too have been wronged. It is the job of our justice system to provide justice and right injustices. So the person who accused falsely should have charges incurred upon them, either financial, criminal or both at the discerning of the jury and judge. My opinion is that any money spent because of the false allegation of rape should be paid for by the accuser as well. Any money spent by the accused on an investigation of the false allegation or on an attorney should be incurred upon the accuser. If there is a court trial for the case, the accuser should also reimburse the accused for loss of pay from missing work and also a hefty fee for emotional damage as determined by the judge. Depending on the level of media coverage of the false rape accusations, there should be libel and slander charges against the false accuser as well.
