Now a days, Indian kids as well have become very much like the American kids .Dressing is one thing, (and I have nothing against the attire as that's a physical /external aspect of an individual)but when it comes to dating, physical relationships, live-in relationships , talking back to your teachers & parents, disrespecting them; aren't we deviating from our culture?
Asian countries are known for their idealistic norms and traditions , then why should Indians diverge so much from their values. I'm not at all saying that all indian kids must touch their parent's feet every morning, dress like a typical Indian or do (WE DO NEED TO EVOLVE AS WELL)any of those extremes. However , I do say that we must keep to ourselves the respect and culture that grows in our country. After all, every country is different, then why ape another one and lose our uniqueness?
With the changing times, today's children seem to be imbibing many fast paced changes as well. From getting hooked to cell phones, the latest social media site, etc, etc.
Now, children at ages 13-14 act as adults as well. Talk adult stuff and do adult stuff! is this right? Should the children of today lose their childhood to act much older than their age? Why?
Is the world really developing? Are women completely empowered ? I what about the position of women in some suburban Asian countries ? In a religon, it is completely permitable if a man wishes to get married a second , a third or even a fourth time due to whatsoever reason but woman woman of the same religion religion allowed to do so, say considering the same reason? The answer is in the negative. But why? Why this discrimination . WHY? If there is development it should happen consequently and uniformly in the entire world!
