Hello my fellow debaters:I apologize for the repetition. Apparently, if you repeat a lie over and over, some people might believe it.. I dunno WHY the DNA test is so hard to believe. Apparently, if the deniers accept that I'm a Jew, they'll have to accept that Jews are the "Chosen People", whatever that means.. I have NO idea why that scares them so. Do you?excon
Hello:I'm a Jew.. I've been a Jew my entire life. I've had people say they HATE me cause I'm a Jew. I've heard 'em say Hitler was right.. I've heard 'em call me names..But, I've NEVER heard 'em say Jews intermarried with Christians long ago, so there ARE NO Jews. What's up with that?excon
I believe Yeshua through His Holy Spirit is the source of a Christian's perfect faith. What is perfect faith? Perfect Christian faith is a saviving relationship with Yeshua Messiah. You may have this relationship in these simple ways. Repent of all of your sins. Confess that you are a sinner to Yeshua Messiah. Receive Yeshua as your God, Lord, Savior, and Friend. Then you confess your new relationship with Yeshua to another sinner, saved or not. This is how I got saved, and these things are all you need to be saved. Salvation first, good works, bad. If you don't have a Bible, go to a Christian bookstore, and ask for help. I love the King James Version, but my other one I love is the New Revised Standard Version. Any consenting party can have a relationship with Yeshua. Yeshua is the Hebrew name for the the Biblical Jesus and the Hebrew word for salvation. How very poetic in my Christian belief, because Yeshua IS Salvayion, and as God, He is also Love. Proof will be provided in the comments section. Love you!
Christians, as well as every other religious person on the planet, holds an atheistic stance on every God or collection of Gods other than the one they so happen to believe in. You're very ready to reject Zeus, Odin, Helios, Allah, Vishnu, Buddha, Waheguru and the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Most of you believe what you do simply because you were raised to believe in that religion and have never taken the initiative to form your own opinion based on facts and evidence. When you come to terms with the reason you don't believe in every God you don't, you've found my reason for not believing in the one, or few, you choose to.
I have heard Christians say God is omniscient (that he knows everything) and that he has given us the gift of free will. It seems to me that these two ideas are contradictory, because if he knows everything he knows what we will do, and we therefore do not have free will - our future is set. Have I misunderstood something? On a similar note, does God also lack free will, or does his not being affected by time allow free will?
