Induced pluripotent stem cells (also known as iPSCs) are a type of pluripotent stem cell that can be generated directly from adult/somatic stem cells, which lack the ethical considerations behind embryonic stem cell research, due to the fact that a developing embryo is not destroyed in the process of their extraction.Despite this ethical affordance, do you believe that iPSCs will eventually become more popular than embryonic stem cell research in the medical sector of society, or do you believe that they will may potentially arise further health hazards, as they have been genetically engineered to demonstrate such pluripotent characteristics, and do not naturally express these versatile characteristics?
