You have a relationship with God, and that relationship is your personal experience.

Your inability to see the truth is called "sin", and there is no man alive without sin.

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. "

Believing in God is easy, you can be absolutely certain of God. Believing things about God is harder. What is God? The Supreme and Ultimate Reality. Recognize that, and allow the spirit of truth to show you the way and grant you a peace that surpasses all understanding.

In other words, atheists do what they do by the will of God.

What do you think omnipotence means?

It means super determinism.

"Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As he spake these words, many believed on him.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father.

Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by."

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

God is defined as The Supreme and Ultimate Reality.

What is The Supreme and Ultimate Reality? The way it actually is. Contrast that with the way it isn't or the way as it looks, or the way that is preferred.

How can I prove this is the Christian God? I don't need to prove anything, it stands by itself. The Supreme and Ultimate Reality is clearly the God of all.

I can at least tell you that I see the witness of this God in both the Old Testament and The New Testament. This is the God of scripture that is universally recognized as being "Christian".

Christianity is not the worship of created things though, it is the relationship with have with God in creation with the spirit of Truth.

Make no mistake, God is The Supreme and Ultimate Reality, and if you take God as being anything else you are not talking about my God.

1 point

The Supreme and Ultimate Reality is God.

These other gods do exist, but they are created beings. They are mortals with lifespans like everything else in creation.

The One True Eternal God is The Supreme and Ultimate Reality.

Many Christians were accused of being atheists back in the early days of the Roman Empire.

In fact, just about every atheist argument at some point in history was used by Christians to expose false deities.

Successful atheist arguments, that is, arguments that are actually legitimate, do nothing to disprove God, they only show how our understanding of God is off.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

Sometimes you gotta give the brain a good washing to get all that gunk out of the mind.

"Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her,

that her warfare is accomplished,

that her iniquity is pardoned:

for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness,

Prepare ye the way of the Lord,

make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be exalted,

and every mountain and hill shall be made low:

and the crooked shall be made straight,

and the rough places plain:

and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,

and all flesh shall see it together:

for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

The voice said, Cry.

And he said, What shall I cry?

All flesh is grass,

and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

the grass withereth, the flower fadeth:

because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it:

surely the people is grass.

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:

but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

O Zion, that bringest good tidings,

get thee up into the high mountain;

O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings,

lift up thy voice with strength;

lift it up, be not afraid;

say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand,

and his arm shall rule for him:

behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd:

he shall gather the lambs with his arm,

and carry them in his bosom,

and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,

and meted out heaven with the span,

and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure,

and weighed the mountains in scales,

and the hills in a balance?

Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord,

or being his counsellor hath taught him?

With whom took he counsel,

and who instructed him,

and taught him in the path of judgment,

and taught him knowledge,

and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket,

and are counted as the small dust of the balance:

behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn,

nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

All nations before him are as nothing;

and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

To whom then will ye liken God?

or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

The workman melteth a graven image,

and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold,

and casteth silver chains.

He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation

chooseth a tree that will not rot;

he seeketh unto him a cunning workman

to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

Have ye not known? have ye not heard?

hath it not been told you from the beginning?

have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth,

and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers;

that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain,

and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

that bringeth the princes to nothing;

he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Yea, they shall not be planted;

yea, they shall not be sown:

yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth:

and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither,

and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.

To whom then will ye liken me,

or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

Lift up your eyes on high,

and behold who hath created these things,

that bringeth out their host by number:

he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might,

for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel,

My way is hid from the Lord,

and my judgment is passed over from my God?

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard,

that the everlasting God, the Lord,

the Creator of the ends of the earth,

fainteth not, neither is weary?

there is no searching of his understanding.

He giveth power to the faint;

and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

and the young men shall utterly fall:

but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings as eagles;

they shall run, and not be weary;

and they shall walk, and not faint."

What if? Omnipotent means that God did it. The Supreme and Ultimate Reality. It is better to accept The Truth than to show preference to unrealities or worse yet, live in utter denial of The Truth.

See, when you don't accept God, you are really the one who is embracing arbitrariness. Your god is personal whim rather than The Truth. For this reason, those who would rather bow down to fetishes will be cursed with strong delusion.

It is better to make peace with reality than to outright deny it or pretend it is something else.

1 point

Good is determined by God. What that means is, if God does it, it is good.

The only free will is God. If you are going to say that God's will isn't free because only God's will can be done which makes God limited to God's will....

...well, I think that makes even less sense.

Yet this is what I believe, that God alone is good, and all things were created by the will of God.

1 point

My faith is not in man, man made institution, or any of these created things. My faith is in God, The Supreme and Ultimate Reality, and this is the God that scripture testifies of.

The first definition of "testament" according to Merriam-Webster is...

"A tangible proof or tribute".

I recognize the two testaments contained within The Holy Bible as being good witness to The One True God, The Supreme and Ultimate Reality.

See, you don't understand my faith. You lean on your own understanding. My faith is not in my own understanding, even less the understanding of other people. My faith is not in philosophy, human authority, systems of human authority, less so even the tombs of dead men.

There is nothing surprising about the way people are, all of it has been prophesied of in scripture. It is prophesy because it is true, not because it is said to be true. Have these things been proven to you? Then to you it is not proof.

See, you are telling me what my faith is, and then proceeding to demolish what it is you are telling me my faith is. Wouldn't it make more sense to show some charity in order to actually address someone as an individual rather than a homogenization of prejudice?

You must not be talking to me.

And that is why I am not preaching a perception or paradigm.

The Supreme and Ultimate Reality is certainly truer than any image.

1 point

If it means anything, most preachers make me physically ill.

It has been permitted by God to allow these things to happen, and they are not extraordinary things to those who have been educated through scripture. This is how the church is, and this is how it was prophesied to be. The state of the church is not all that shocking to me, as scripture makes it clear that it was going to be this way. It is at least very clear to me.

The God I believe in is The Supreme and Ultimate Reality. That being the case, The Truth is what has authority. Many will claim things by the name of Jesus, but that doesn't mean they even know Jesus.

The Truth is what sets you free, what saves you, what redeems all. That is The Good News, The Gospel. People will always argue over matters of creation. Ultimately, this isn't what the faith is about.
