Is Seattle experiencing serious Global Warming?
Seattle got almost the same amount of snow it gets in a year in one day, leaving officials scrambling to get people off the streets and Washington's governor declaring a state of emergency.
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport had 6.4 inches of snow Friday, according to the National Weather Service. It's the second-most snow recorded in the area in a day for the past 20 years, and more is still to come.

Seattle, Washington gets 37 inches of rain, on average, per year. The US average is 39 inches of rain per year. Seattle averages 5 inches of snow per year. The US average is 26 inches of snow per year. The seriousness of Global Chaos only affects Seattle when it rains and not when it snows. Although not a crude oil producing state, Washington has the fifth largest U.S. oil refining capacity for making petroleum products with the ability to process 638,000 barrels of oil a day at the state's five refineries. Climate change messes with the balance of climatic forces causing more severe or unexpected weather throughout the world. Is it possible this storm would of happened without climate change, but it most likely has something to do with it. Remember, global warming is only a few actual degree difference on a global scale, but it alters the climate dramatically. Side: Yes it is

How'd cities just a few thousand years ago wind up under water? Hello c: As long as you're not asking me why snow is cold, I'll give it a shot.. I'm NOT a scientist, but I'd say climate change has NOTHING to do with sunken cities.. I'd say it was tectonic plate movement.. In fact, just a few years ago, Mt. St. Helen's WAS a lot higher than it is today.. That has NOTHING to do with climate change either.. excon Side: Yes it is
