In the year 2040 all constitutional rights will be dissolved or transformed. America will become a socialist country. The public will live there entire lives staring at screens and have computer chips in their brains and hands. Organic food will be illegal and the average person will be on at least 30 pharmaceuticals. Everyone will live in giant smart cities where there whole life is monitored and regulated. Side: Answer

Financially broke, both nationally and among the majority of the population. Massive unemployment due to tech and employment changes. A large swath of people will have cut the cord to car ownership and home ownership and the economy will feel that hard. Most will be done from home instead of offices and stores - work, shopping, school, etc. Some part, whether big or small, will have split from the rest of the USA. Trump and his cronies will have been tried, convicted, and possibly in some cases executed for treason, and will be the favorite political science classroom topic for a half century to come. The Muslims will have attacked Israel by then, & we will be second to China in every major economic arena. We will have fallen behind because the Chinese will have more AI & smart technology. The U.S. will be violent because the left will have scrapped the law & law enforcement's abilities, setting up an environment of crime. It will become so bad that the left's leaders will use it as an excuse to declare martial law & use surveillance on everyone.
