you wudnt feel like a student if ur not dressed like one every office every skool and every company or working site has a uniform .. because it makes them look professional its a kind of motivation..

every thing has a special uniform .. u go to bed u wear ur sleeping suit u go to the pool u wear a swimming trunk and da same way when u go to school u wear ur uniform .. it gives us an inner feeling that oh its time for school..

if we wear casuals we basically would feel a bit lazy and lathajic but when we do wear our uniform we actually feel that its time for school.. its different feeling.. not only that it also represents our school.

every uniform has a special logo its school logo which makes it different from others..

What nonsense. If one is truly dependent upon their attire to function at a truly minimal level then the issue is much deeper and far more serious than their wardrobe.

I agree regarding "minimal level", but the level of functionality sought after in schools should be as close to maximum as possible. As it stands, the social standards of schools weigh heavily upon children and one of the main ways that manifests is through clothing. Kids who feel they are wearing "uncool" and "poor" clothes will have lower self esteem which will often translate to a lower level of general functionality within the school environment which of course would translate to their academic progress.

In short: Give them uniforms so kids have one less thing to obsess about and get distracted by.

No. That would limit freedom of expression. .

Out of curiosity, is there any reason you didn't respond to my last comment to you regarding Godwin's Law?

I forget what you said, so I don't know, and you are off topic. .

Why is that an inherently bad thing? No right is absolute, and there is already precedent for restricting freedom of expression in schools.

And yes, absolute rights do exist. People have the absolute right to live

Side: shouldn't be compulsory

If you think about it, it shouldn't be needed. There would be enough money spent for education. And you know how some people say that you dress up but get fun of? Yeah, there has been no signs of that happening. Yet they may dress up to look like... those people.., it wouldn't be needed to wear a uniform that feels uncomfortable.

It shouldn't be compulsory. Because the uniforms could be horrible and decrease the chemistry of the people in the school. My school is International Baccalaureate partially and it focuses on ethics and one of those factors are building relations and the diversity of clothes could lead to new friend ships and compliments

Side: shouldn't be compulsory

How people dress is their expression, kids should be able to dress however they want.
