Today I felt like I understood the plight of transgender people and I thank them.
Today I felt like I understood the plight of transgender people. The need to let the trapped inner come out.
Here's what happened.
I had to go the bathroom really bad. But my gender assigned restroom was out of order. Still, there was something trapped inside of me and it was trying to come out. I rationalized that this is how uncomfortable transgender people feel and felt solidarity with them. I felt like I was a transgender person myself and thus went into the other gender's restroom. As soon as I had let it out, I felt relieved and returned back to "normal." But for that brief moment, I finally understood what it feels like to be transgender.
I thank transgender people for fighting for my right to use whichever bathroom is in working order.
If you have ever had any transgender moments, please share below.

Au contraire........ I just returned from 7 weeks in the Costa Rican rain forests. We were about two miles from where they did a lot of filming for the original Jurassic Park. A couple times due to dehydration (which acts as a diuretic) I had to do business while out in the bush. I quickly discovered that nice green wet leaves makes for excellent TP! Nature IS the Great Provider! LOL SS 1
