Just today, I had watched a show called "My Brilliant Brain" on Youtube.
heres the link:

I think this is particularly fascinating. You have three main people, A child music genuis, a human calendar, and a chess mastermind. What the program is trying to convey is that these people may have a diffrently wired brain then the average individual. Another prospective of this show is the idea that we all may actually have hidden potential, inside of our brain.
The whole show is truely interesting.
Post your views of the program below! :D
I had recently asked someone this question, and thier answer interested me.
Personally, I think humanity dosent hold as much value as it once did.
Its not to the point which everything is just chaos, but its escalated to the point where no one really gives thier actions a second look.
What do you think?
9/11 is such a signifigant date for Americans.
On that day, thousands of innocent lives were taken.
I feel as if the younger generation is forgetting what America went through that day, because we choose not to talk about it. (Rightfully so)
On that day, my father was actually working a few blocks from the towers.(He was a cop) When they heard the first plane crash, they had thought it was an accident, and when panic started to arrise, he was called out to help.
When the tower fell down, a few of his co workers ran into a school building nearby, and stayed there till the dust died down. They then went back out again, and walked back to thier building. Just a few hours ago, there were people inside, but now it was deserted. Him and his friends ended up manning that building, giving directions to anyone who had stopped by.
He made it home that day. (Thank God)
He just told me this story yesterday, and I have such a deep respect for the ones who were not as fortunate.
May we never forget...
Believe it or not, alot of people have irrational fears!
Some of the most common are of course
Fear of spiders (lol, my sis!)
Fear of heights
Fear of flying, the list goes on and on.
Do you guys have any irrational fears?
(Mine is fear of mold by the way...)
I had recently taken an IQ test, and scored 115, which is above average. They had given me a chart, which shows where most people scored.
When I was looking at it, I saw most people scored in the 99-100 percentile, however, some people did land below that. I began to think about how they must have felt when they recieved that kind of news. I thought it was kind of unfair to just label them like that, because IQ tests dont measure musical talent, or creativity. While those people may not be the best at ELA, or science, they may be extremely tallented in other places.
mabye they should alter IQ tests, and have them count musical talent, etc.
I was curious to see what you guys think.
The lawyer profession has always interested me, and I was just curious about that you think about them. I know some people say that thier "leeches", but personally I disagree.
Thier simply making thier case, a thing they were paid to do, am I right?
