You need to get saved. Then you can have fun trying to reach out to others with the good news from God, how that he gave Himself as the payment for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will forgive and save from Hell whosoever shall call upon His name.
Have you made any post on this site not about your Christianity? Seriously. Do you have any other characteristics besides threatening others or promising them with eternal happiness? Has religion seriously robbed nearly all of your personality from you?
This is why we think you're FromWithin. Each of his alternate accounts have a theme. FromWithin is rant and insults all the time. Outlaw uses almost entirely questions, the word leftist, and avoids issues. Maybe you're his excuse to just be religious all the time. Or maybe you're just independently trolling. That seems most likely.
Maybe you are lost, dying, and on your way to Hell with one foot in the grave and the other foot on thin ice which is melting over the fire of Hell....think about it.
I can't convince you, I can only try to get you to think so that God Himself can convince you and you can enter into agreement with Him to receive His offer of pardon and know His mercy and be saved from Hell. I can't force you to believe anything, I can't force you to trust Jesus Christ and know the power of His resurrection.
Of course I considered "what if I'm wrong", and then I realized I was fatally wrong and deserved to die and burn in Hell. I realized the only hope in life is that God Himself died for me and conquered death and rose from the dead, and I believed God and trusted in Jesus Christ and received Him as He is, the Lord God the only Savior. I talk to Him the same as I talk to you, only when I talk to Him I revere His holiness...when I talk to you, I feel sorry for you and try to tell you God loves you and you can be forgiven and know it with full assurance of having eternal life through Jesus Christ.
God is never wrong, I can be...when I am in agreement with God, He is right and I can count on it so there is no question about being wrong as long as I am in agreement with God. I deserve to die and burn in Hell, God agrees with this fact, I am forgiven because God promises forgiveness to all who receive Jesus Christ, and I have no reason to ask if I'm wrong about that. I have every reason to give myself fully to the good news from God, the gospel of Jesus Christ, that He paid for our sins with His own blood and rose from the dead and is alive forevermore, conquered death, and will give us the victory over death by His own power as God. God wants everybody to be saved from Hell...why won't you be?
I can only try to get you to think so that God Himself can convince you and you can enter into agreement with Him to receive His offer of pardon and know His mercy and be saved from Hell.
I don't think there is any atheist who hasn't tried to find God at one point, or if there are, they are few and far between. If that's your only goal,
I can't force you to believe anything
My question has been "what convinced you," to which you consistently replied with things that are true if you believe in God already. You say you talk to God, the same way you talk to me, tell me how. You claim Jesus was resurrected, why do you believe that? The why is what you're missing, so far you're only answering what.
Of course I considered "what if I'm wrong", and then I realized I was fatally wrong and deserved to die and burn in Hell.
I meant since you decided that. What if that realization was wrong?
.
The question "what if you're wrong" would more be along the lines of: "What if you're wrong about what you think God is telling you?"
You accept humans can be wrong, and you accept the Bible was written by humans inspired by God, right? So why treat the Bible as absolutes? Why treat the Bible as a factual account?
I talk to Him the same as I talk to you
God's on create debate?
If you talk to Him same as you talk to me, can you hook me up? What did he most recently say to you? Can you give me a record of this conversation? That's super exciting!
"If you talk to Him same as you talk to me, can you hook me up? What did he most recently say to you? Can you give me a record of this conversation? That's super exciting!"
I think you are being sarcastic, and not at all excited about talking to God, but I will respond to you here as if you are being honest in your speech.
I cannot hook you up with God. You have to pick up the phone on which God is calling you in order to be hooked up. You seem to be insisting He can't be calling you, so you are refusing to pick up the phone, pretending you are not there where He can reach you.
What He most recently said to me is that He loves you. The record of this conversation can be found in English in the King James Bible, the gospel according to John, chapter 3, verse 16. You can read it for yourself.
I don't think you want to be connected to God, because you love being against Him and in effect you love death...you love your sin more than life and are welcoming the death it brings....but you won't like it in Hell if you don't repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
No, I do not say that. I merely point out that I cannot find any evidence of God calling me. And saying that "if you listen, you'll hear" does nothing, because that is somewhat confusing.
What He most recently said to me is that He loves you. The record of this conversation can be found in English in the King James Bible, the gospel according to John, chapter 3, verse 16. You can read it for yourself.
Oh, so he didn't speak to you, you read what he allegedly said to someone else thousands of years ago. That's not exactly how you and I talk to.
I don't think you want to be connected to God, because you love being against Him and in effect you love death
I can't love being against something that I have no evidence of existing. In order for that statement to be true, I would have to believe God exists, which, at this point in time, I haven't been given a way to see this as true.
At the moment you asked, the last thing God said to me was that He loves you. If you don't want to believe it, don't. Go on believing God does not love you and you have the right to exist without punishment in death.
I will, unless I'm given a reason to believe He's real. But I'm confused. You said that the last thing God said to you was that He loves me, but you said that was written in the Bible. And the Bible was written by man, supposedly inspired by God. So, how can you say for certain that God is truly talking to you?
Because it's God's word. You don't hear Him talking to you because you are fighting against Him and His wrath is on you like a dark cloud on your shoulders. He's holding back from letting you go down in death to Hell because He loves you and wants you to believe on His Son who He gave as the payment for your sin so you can have eternal life in His resurrection.
It's very simple. It's about you, your future, your eternity. You need to think about your own self-preservation, and trust God to keep you in life forever. If you want to keep going your own way and doing whatever you want to insisting God can't tell you what to do or what not to do, God loves you and will let you do that even though you are provoking His wrath. He does not want you punished, but you are pushing Him to the limit of His patience if you won't repent of your sin and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be forgiven.
The only real reason people won't believe is that they don't want to renounce the pleasures of their sin...even good moral people who keep themselves clean and pure in every possible way but remain proud of themselves and not conceding that they deserve to die and burn in Hell as sinners...they go on in pride as if God owes them pardon from Hell because they think they are good, when God sees them as nothing but sinners who need to be pardoned or punished.
If you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you'll have a new life and a new desired to be like Jesus, to refrain from sin and do what God wants you to do when He wants you to do it...and it will change your life forever. That's why people refuse to believe... they are afraid of the changes and they love their sin so they fool themselves into believing they have the right to exist outside of Hell and cannot be punished in death.
Can you actually clarify this for me? Is the Bible God's word, or is it the word of man interpreting God?
He's holding back from letting you go down in death to Hell because He loves you and wants you to believe on His Son who He gave as the payment for your sin so you can have eternal life in His resurrection.
Then why won't He give me evidence that would lead me to believe that? If He wanted me to believe, why would He make it so unbelievable.
If you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you'll have a new life and a new desired to be like Jesus, to refrain from sin and do what God wants you to do when He wants you to do it
...in other words, I will lose my free will, as all my actions will be to serve an invisible being? That sounds more like a dictator.
That's why people refuse to believe... they are afraid of the changes and they love their sin so they fool themselves into believing they have the right to exist outside of Hell and cannot be punished in death.
You can say that, but it doesn't make it so. In order for that to be true, a person would have to first believe in Hell and then trick themselves that Hell is not real. Since there are parts of the world in which the Christian idea of Hell has not been introduced, and there are atheists there, this can simply not be the case.
I would not waste time listening to his or your twisted philosophy of self-justification. We all deserve to die and burn in Hell, and I'm sure this video gives some insane argument or you would not promote it.
What have we all done to deserve eternal suffering?
Also, are you saying that while everyone is an equal sinner, if you buddy up with God your sins don't matter? So the same sinners would be in Heaven and Hell, just those in Heaven accepted God?
Sinned against God. He is holy, pure, and cannot be good if He does not punish evil. As a sinner, by your nature you seek to displace God from His rightful ownership over His Creation. He created you to enjoy, not so you could enjoy being a sinner breaking His law. Your own sin is a gulf between you and God which you cannot cross, and it places you in Hell's fire where it belongs.
God loves you so much, He paid the price of your sin by taking your death upon Himself as the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Because He paid the price for you with His own life's blood, He has the right to keep you in Hell forever if you insist you do not owe Him your life. If you believe on Jesus as your Savior, He will give yo a new nature, a sinless nature born of His Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ Himself living in you making you a new creature. The old you will always be a sinner, tied to your dying body. The new you will be born of God's Spirit, growing up to be like Jesus Christ, and God will give you a new body fit for heaven and even change your old body when it is pulled up from the grave following Jesus Christ. God will have what He intended Creation to be, a perfect Kingdom full of love, joy, peace, without pain, suffering, or death.
There's a new me which is a child of God, born of His Spirit. The old me is a child of Adam, a sinner, born of Adam's blood. The new me is what God sees in me because the blood of Jesus Christ has covered my sin, and God sees me as His child like Jesus. I'm still a sinner in the flesh, but a new creation in Jesus Christ...so I push myself to obey Him, to honor Him, to live holy, to do right, and walk worthy of Him who has called me to eternal life for His own name's sake.
It's not a matter of buddying up with God, it's a matter of coming into agreement with Him, believing Him, and receiving His mercy based on His promise of eternal life to all who receive His Son.
Try to think of it this way...if you have not already opened your door (your heart's door) to Jesus Christ and received Him, He is standing at your door (your heart's door) knocking, calling you to open the door to Him and receive Him. If you will hear His voice and receive Him, He will come in to you and you will from that moment on have in you the means of fellowship with God. He won't come in if you won't admit you have broken His law and deserve to die. If you will believe on His resurrection, and ask God to save you from Hell, He will come in to you and never leave you or forsake you and take you through the blood of His cross into eternal life. This is the gift of God, eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God is offering you a gift. I hope you will receive it from God. I can't give it to you, I can't teach you how to have it, you have to receive it from God and I know you can because I did, and I'm no better than you ...that's a fact.
look at the sneer on this guys face...the slightly raised lip on the left of his mouth in the picture, the downturned corners of his mouth, the death-look in his eyes........this is a guy who if I met on the street looking at me the way he is looking in this picture, I would be expecting him to attack me and I would be ready for the first move to neutralize him the moment he started attacking.
The guy looks like a terrorist....I might pretend to listen to him, but I can see danger and I would be guarding against attack more than I would be listening......and I sure would turn and walk away if I thought it was safe to do so.
If you want to listen to people like this guy, go ahead. I'm not interested in anything he has to say in this video...I don't even like the look of his face on my comp screen. I don't allow pictures like that in my house.
Dude, it's frozen frame of a video. That's not how he hold his face like that.
You are also utilizing argument ad hominem, where you say that a person's argument is invalid by insulting them and not the arguments they make. That is invalid.
That picture was chosen because it shows the guy's attitude as if he's strong. He's wicked. He hates God and loves death and is trying to get you to go the same way he is because it makes him feel more powerful if he can get you to be a fool the same as he is a fool.
I know the guy's argument is invalid before I listen to it...first because of the look on his face promoting his speech, and second because YOU are promoting the speech. I've heard it a hundred times, the same old accusations against, accusations inspired by Satan who knows he is lying.....so people who make the devilish argument trying to accuse God of not being good will be destroyed in the devil's Hell fire and that is the only way the devil can strike back at God...because God loves that sneer-face and died to save him from Hell, but the devil intends to pull that sneer-face down to Hell with him and you can go with them if you want.
You really don't want to go that way, but if God can't talk you out of it He'll let you go....your time is running out.
