During that time period the U.S. population was half of what it is now. People were unemployed in Carson's time. That means she probably stole the job from an American, and without the illegal alien to hire, an American would have gotten the job and been paid better than the alien.

I met Tio at Paisans Pizzeria in Denver.. He washed dishes. I didn't speak Spanish, and he didn't speak English.. But, communication is MUCH more than just words.. He became a lifelong friend to me..
Anyway, he was making what dishwashers made.. I dunno where you get this slave crap.. In fact, what he made as a dishwasher was BIG BUCKS in Mexico, so Tio was able to send enough money home to support his family..
