The Christian faith sees homosexuality as a sin. The bible says that all sins are equal in God's eyes. Therefor, being homosexual is no better than committing murder and no worse than cheating on a math test. Whether a gay person goes to heaven or not is all dependent on his or faith in Jesus Christ. So what your saying is that you can do whatever the hell you want in your lifetime. Kill, rape, steal, ect and as long as your "faith in Jesus" is solid your good to go when you reach heaven? Your underestimating God c; He changes you, that is the amazing grace everyone sings about. This change is not a change that you don't want, in fact he changes what you want! No, this is not religious brainwash at all, this is God. My boyfriend used to be a sexually driven party boy, he did drugs, got drunk, chased after girls in short skirts. But guess what, one night with the holy spirit, his desires changed. All of the want to do that stuff was gone! He hasn't touched the stuff since then. His addictions broken, in on night. No this wasn't the church, since he's been going on and off for a few months and he found it fun but nothing really changed, he still wanted to do all that stuff. Now, his addiction to porn that he's had for 4 year was broken, and it wasn't because of me cause he doesn't actually get any from me hahahhahahhah. I knew him before, I know him now. If the only sin specified as unforgivable is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, then all other sins are forgivable. If all other sins are forgivable, and homosexuality is a sin, then it should be possible for a Christian homosexual to enter Heaven upon being forgiven. Side: Heaven

Either is possible. Most people forget that heaven is a choice. It is our choice. We also forget that we choose heaven or hell by our very actions. So that being said either is possible. Someone can be homosexual but not practice homosexual activities. In this case, provided they have asked forgiveness of all other sins, they could go to heaven after death. If someone does practice homosexual activities and they know that it violates natural law, then they are effectively choosing not to be in communion with God. And not being in communion with God is hell. That being said such a person must die in this state. They always have the option to renounce their past and choose to be in communion with God again. Therefore, it is possible for any homosexual to go to heaven. Side: Heaven

Regardless if a person is a homosexual or not, he or she must learn to control it or at least try! For if we do not hate our sin then we are not of God. If we are not of God then we are not righteous. If we are not righteous then we do not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Homosexuals go to heaven if they turn themselves over to Christ and begin to understand the evils of homosexuality. Once they understand this and actually try to conquer it... At the end of the day times have changed, people have eveolved.. maybe if a few more people had the confidence to come out the closet it would decrease the problem of over population.. and give more orphans the chance to have a home with two people that will love them and ideally be able to bring them up in a worlld where they arent alienated by haters who swear by a book that was written over 2000 years ago when people also believed the world was flat!. If the gay person has asked for forgiveness for all their sins , asked God in their heart , and has been cleansed by the blood of Christ ; absolutely . I am a lesbian , yet I have been a devoted Christian since I was 7 . I'm sick of this argument , I thought maybe that we'd evolved from such close-minded views of homosexuality , seeing that it is 2012 . If you're saved , you're saved . PERIOD . I don't believe in heaven nor in hell. But, if they exist and if God is fair like the Bible and the religion say, the homosexual Christians will go to heaven. Unless, of course, that they have another reason to go to hell. But they will not go to hell just because they are homosexuals. Sexual orientation is not a choice, so how could the fair God punish the homosexuals forever in hell because of something that isn't their choice? Side: Heaven

Context, context, context bro. Jesus fulfilled the law (Matthew 5:17), it does not mean it does not exist anymore, but mean we no longer have to 'work' to get to heaven. If you keep reading onto, 1 Corinthians 6:11, you will see that Paul said this to make sure we all knew we were ALL sinners, but we could ALL be washed, sanctified and justified from the name and blood of Jesus Chirst. The bible does not have to give a reason because we have the ability to figure that out for ourselves. As humans we are rational beings. This means that we know the consequences of action, we can speculate, we can make goals and derive means to achieving those goals. These are just a few of our abilities as rational beings. Given this aspect of the human we can know why homosexuality is wrong. For everything we know we can assign an efficient cause and a final cause. This is coming from the works of the philosopher Aristotle. An Efficient Cause explains how something came to be. While the Final Cause explains what a particular thing naturally works towards, in other words, the reason for its existence. So if we take a chair as an example we know that the efficient cause is a carpenter, or some other tradesman. While the final cause is for it to be sat on. It is this final cause that we are here concerned about and it leads to the notion of the Natural Law. Natural Law is what we humans are inclined to act towards according to our reason. From reason we know that sex is an act. Sex is not an end in itself but it leads to procreation. Naturally all person through reason know that the final cause in the sexual act it procreation. It is for this reason that homosexual acts are contrary to Natural Law and are therefore sinful acts. It is because the act in homosexuality divorces sex from its natural end. You are suggesting that there is no reason or thought as to why homosexuality is wrong. But it is more so the case that you have never taken the time to analyse what makes a sin a sin. Perhaps you just assumed that sin does not exist based on your belief system, or in other words your faith system? Just be assured that the things written over 2000 years ago and taught ever since have had much more thought put into them than your answer did. Side: Hell

Umm okay, well firstly I'm astounded to see that many are agreeing that heaven is their destination. Well you clearly have no knowledge in regards to a Christian perspective towards Homosexuality as it is quite evidently condemned. This understanding is derived from the Bible, also referred to as the sacred text which ultimately highlights, and puts in simple terms, the very fact that those who are homosexual will not inherit the kingdom of God. The most well-known biblical reference: "You shall not commit adultery". (Exodus 20:14) merely indicates that it is unacceptable. And Corinthians 9, Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, 10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God." - Thereby I strongly suggest you all stop presuming one is granted acceptance into the kingdom of God when it is made clear in the Bible that they WILL NOT :) Side: Hell
