How many people would have to be strapped onto a train track with a train coming for you to justify pushing your spouse in front of the train to save the rest of the people? 2? 5? Think as if you were actually in that situation, it's easy to say you're morally enlightened enough to push your spouse in front of a train to save 2 people, but would you actually do it?
Do you think that at some point a God manifested himself to humans and told us what to think, or in the very beginning of it did we have to "create" religion in the same way that we "created" mathematics, or "discovered" mathematics, either way.
If your child asked you, "Why are we here?", do you think there will ever be an answer to that question that is 100% true, or can you only tell them what your opinion is and that they have to find out on their own.
