I was with one of my friends who I recently found out was mormon and then my friends had
sort of a religious social gathering which I felt escalated when one person said to my mormon friend
that mormonism is debated if it is apart of Christanity or not. Personally, they both view the
concept of Jesus which should give enough proof that they are indeed devout Christians.
I mean we can say we love each other and hold a relationship but do we truly love each other?
CAN you really love someone forever and not get bored, lonesome, or find blantancy in them.
Your going to not like them one day because they stole the pie in fridge that you saved for yourself.
Can two people truly love each other so they are one or we are suppose to be like other animals: finding
numerous mates to reproduce with (not like don't already do that.)
Is it necessary for me to provide evidence for something to prove something real?
i.e. Seeing how everyone base their life around realism and the fact that if I die the world will still continue, it can always be debated that if I die then the world would also die because really the world is just my envisionment or dream. There really is no way to prove it right or wrong with tangible evidence unless you die and comeback. You can only argue with morality because realism and a concept like solopism is debatable case.
No specific genre.
Please... no love songs.
Or at least try not too.
My current favorite: Komm Susser Todd. You should know where I took that from.
He used to be really active on this site 7 months ago. Probably left cause of depression or maybe he couldn't pay his electric bill...
Did Prodigee leave yet and is there any new features to CD, looks the same...
To clarify, I will share my example:
Some theories claim our universe to be a single dot, point, etc. Well I have been speculating as to what is around that dot or point. Is that dot not surrounded by something? But it has to because a dot must be placed within space. Right? I get lost after that...
LIST YOURS!~
If I observe the color red, should I feel happiness?
If I observe the color blue, should I feel depressed?
(Understand how in different cultures, colors have different meanings.)
Imagine the people of CreateDebate as our (U.S) Congress. Do you think our community is equivalent to that of Congress and if not, better? Do you believe we can handle their issues that they face day by day? (Just to clarify, excluding all the nut jobs & trolls on this site.)
This was my logic and post to the debate: "God could be a ham sandwich for all we know."
"I hate how all these religion debates go through the same chain of arguments. But truly, bare with me on my comment.
We humans can only achieve 10% of our brain's intelligence. So honestly, can anyone make a argument to begin with? We will never be able to tap to that 90% of intelligence we will never get to know. Maybe within that 90% of intelligence can have the answers to possibly the most important question in the world.
Theists use believe as their evidence as to, atheists use science and common sense. Although, neither side can truly know god's physical form and existence till death. As well, TV shows like "I came back from the dead" or something like that is baloney (coming from a theist.)
I know atheists can criticize me for using my evidence of just simply believing in god and nothing more but, science can only give so much answers as to the very beginning of time. (No, I don't believe a random explosion occurred with all the necessary elements for life to occur just randomly happened. So, yes, science does has its own little fantasy-like assumptions. Feel free to tell me how this random explosion occurred and how space was invented and you got me booked.)
In the end, I could be believing in God because I just choose to him/her/it, and nothing more. Or I could be afraid of death itself, and so I choose to believe in God so I can coup with death. Yet, I am just going to keep believing and I hope God isn't a ham sandwich because, I might eat him! (Just kidding.)" -quoted by Sinknight
Do you agree or disagree with my personal thoughts of religion debates.
We surely had enough of Prodigee and since his surrender to our relatively moderate war, recently, are we to expect another menace?
If so, could he already be in premise? All new and old users should be tested for the Prodigee-flu.
Should I start a petition to send the word out that this site should alert users who up voted or down voted their argument. Its just a idea I wanted to see if anyone would agree with.
I, like many people, surf the web and just waste time observing many sites. Although, I have been seeing many religious topics flowing through CD. So, I wanted to share this website which is totally "theist" based and claims to disprove atheism.
Understand, I post this with utter respect to atheists and I just want to see the response from a atheist upon what they think about this article.

(COPY AND PASTE THE URL ABOVE!) Sorry, I don't know how to make a link.
By the way, I mean cynical as in "doubtful of something occurring."
Anyways, is it rude to not care or be doubtful of someones possbility of living?
For say, that it was a woman who has been fighting a dangerous disease and she has been told that there is a possible cure for her disease but, if the cure doesn't work that her disease is most likely incurable and would succumb to the disease.
Now, would it be rude to deny her chance of surivial or would it be fine since your just voicing your opinion.
It doesn't matter if you find Megan Fox ugly and Rosie O'Donell sexy, this debate appeals to what you see as ugly and what would you do.
In the case you find a extremely unattractive female and she asks you for your HONEST opinion on her looks, would you lie and say she looks fine or be honest and tell her straight up how ugly she looks.
Is it possible that war and violence of any sort could be prevented from this world? Or is it only natural that humans are going to be violent and dangerous organisms.
I been off CreateDebate for about a week because I wanted to expriment what would occur during the week I was off.
The results shown that the site has become a battlefield where users debate peacefully for about 4 rounds of posts and suddenly, it will escalate to a battle. Many debates were about users on this site rather than the natural flow of common debates. They were targeted towards Ismaila, Prodigee, DrSaunders, etc. (Mainly, Prodigee.) Although, the site has been raising in statistics and overall has grown to a new height, things have changed since the first day I joined this site till the last (don't be mislead by my points, I've been here for about a year.)
So, the question is: has this site loss at least a little focus from its actual purpose? Its as if, CD stood for CreateDrama rather than CreateDebate. And if you affirm or negate this perspective, please tell me why. Things got to change for the better!
He gets angry if you go against him and bans you if you don't agree with his "logic." Maybe thats him becoming a hulk or just acting like a little kid that got his candy taken away.
