Sinners VS Saints

God Himself came down from Heaven as the Son of God sent by the Father to pay for the sins of the world so whosoever believes on Him in His bodily resurrection can be forgiven, paid for by His blood, and stand in the Judgment and remain in Heaven forever.    Those who reject Him have no way to be forgiven and will not be forgiven in the Lake of Fire which is the second death.  Amen, and amen.

You have no idea what the words mercy and good mean if you believe in a deity that would even allow hell to exist .

I will refer to the Wisdom of Billy Joel on this one, from his song "Only the Good Die Young"

"I'd rather laugh with the Sinners than Cry with the Saints/the sinners have much more fun. Only the good die young."

this encompasses my theology!

LOL

Billy Joel was calling himself good for being hedonistic, living a wild life likely to result in dying young......"only the good die young". I'm not sure what he thinks they are good for, but he sure promotes the pleasures of sin.

That's understandable theology....for a sinner. I was quite the rock and roll party animal when Billy Joel was big, never cared for his stuff...seemed cheap and corny, though I did have a lot of fun with the sinners. That kind of fun lasts until morning, and it never satisfies, always have to try for more. Saints have more fun, I have been on both sides of this debate. If I could do it all over, I would have been a saint before I became a rock and roller. There's a big difference between being joyful and having fun. I'm in pain every day now, but joyful knowing what's ahead. I wonder if I'll have to suffer a lot, and then I shout for joy knowing Jesus went through it already for me, and will take me through to be with Him forever. I'll be seeing Him soon, and it fills my heart with joy, makes me love everybody.

These idiots who think I'm mean and hateful do not understand. I'm trying to get them to listen, have to break down some walls to get people to quit banging their heads against the wall so they will listen.

I think Billy Joel must have had some bad experiences in Catholicism. Either somebody else wrote that song or he had some first hand knowledge about Catholic customs.

Our sins will be paid for in blood?

That seems akin to the godforsaken rituals of demons. Are you sure that you're worshipping the correct deity?

God had a choice when man sinned. Execute their death penalty and leave them in Hell, or pay the price Himself so He remains righteous in judgement to condemn the devil. The animal He skinned to cover Adam and Eve temporarily covered their sin, until Him himself took on the form of a man and became the Lamb of God, He gave Himself as the sacrifice to pay for our sins.

Why do you think blood cannot be used if it is harvested from a cadaver? It's because the life of the flesh is in the blood.....when the life is gone out of the blood, it's no good. God's sinless blood did what our sinful blood cannot do, paid in full for our sins so we can be forgiven. Without God's blood covering your sin, the One who gave His blood to pay your price will see you as all sin, with no covering, You will pay for your own sins as you are paying now in death, eternal death in the Lake of Fire if Jesus who died for you is not your Savior who forgives you.

Maybe you cannot hear, never will. But as your record of sin stands against you, so it is history that you were told....if you won't hear, that's on you.

I couldn't help but notice you haven't banned me from this debate. The Saints own God in my opinion, most people need their own personal Jesus to make them feel more important, or apart of something more important.

God owns the saint, idiot. He bought me and paid for me with His own blood, I am His and He is mine. I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me, to redeem me from all iniquity.

The preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness: but to us who are believe, it is the power of God unto salvation.

I'm sorry you feel your life is meaningless and has no real value. You are wrong about that. Life means God is good, and you are precious because God values you so.

With one foot in the grave and the other on thin ice melting over the fire of Hell,

time is running out for sinners. I hope they get saved before their time is gone and their blood is on their own head forever.

According to Christianity everyone is a sinner and God is incapable of forgiveness for some reason (God can do everything else according to the texts) unless you go through Jesus. I would say that all Christians are slaves to their beliefs. All Saints have spent their lives as slaves to an imaginary being to earn Sainthood. If they enjoyed that life, it is good for them but if they didn't enjoy life because of the sacrifices to this slavery then it is sad

As an atheist I am better than Saints because I don't have to be a slave to anything thanks to a knowledge of what the truth is.

pfft !! .... our culture sure could use a few more Heavenly minded folks these days ...

seems the satanic minded are the cause of all the mayhem / the drugs / the robberies / the gang violence / the welfare cheats / those of no conscience / the out of control sex offenders and cheats / rapists and molesters ..... yes indeed, all the opposite of and empty of being Heavenly minded (those willing to love and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ) ... Indeed picker .. the day will come when you'll no longer have to put up with anyone who might be "Heavenly Minded" .... an eternal life separated from God in the place God has designed not you but for Satan and demons ..... what a joy for you

Yeah, I've no choice but to say that I see eye to eye with you on that one. What I've often wondered is, are those who profess to be Christians' decent, caring folk anyway, and became Christians because Christianity was compatible with their congenital morally righteous and honourable nature, or did they acquire their pleasant, caring disposition a consequence of the teachings of their faith? However, I would add that there are countless numbers of honest, benevolent and charitable people who are not Christians and live their respectable lives without feeling the necessity to sanctimoniously quote convenient verses from a book compiled by multiple authors none of whom were any different than you or I.
