Trump is gonna END the Russian investigation by doing an end run around congress..
IF congress recess's for the summer, Trump can FIRE Jeff Sessions and AVOID Senate confirmation by making a recess appointment.. That way he can install an Attorney General who IS loyal to Trump WITHOUT interference from that pesky Senate. And that guy WON'T be recused from the Russian investigation so he can FIRE Mueller.
Yes, the Attorney General is SUPPOSED to be loyal to the Constitution, but you KNOW Trump will find somebody who'll kiss his ring, don't you?? Names like Christy and Giuliani have been bandied about..
But, my question is, will installing a FRIENDLY Attorney General SAVE Trump from impeachment?? After all, even if Mueller is fired, the congressional investigations go forward..

I believe this. He'll, if nothing else, find it hard to replace people like Tillerson and McMaster and Session and.......several others because nobody will want to work under this "KING". Strange how the right accused Obama of "trying to be King", and they gleefully allow Trump to actually PLAY King! If they pass the repeal of the ACA I think it will be all over but the shouting. It seems, actually, like Trump can do no RIGHT! His speech to the Boy Scouts was juvenile to say the LEAST! A delinquent 7th grader talking to, hopefully, more adult examples of youth. You're probably right. And this is why I already said separately on this site he'll probably fire Mueller before mid term elections, try to dispose of whatever case has been built, and then start over after election with a mixed group in Congress not as friendly to him. The real question is will the rebalanced Congress finally do something or not. It's sad for American democracy regardless. And it's the fault of idiots voting complete control in to the Republicans that we ended up in this mess. If there was any sort of power share going on Congress would have already pulled the trigger on Trump by now. Side: Trump can do no wrong
