Was Jesus in the bible gay?

He never married all he did was hang out with his bros all day. And he was nailed to the cross by a roman soldier wasn't he? That is pretty gay in my book.

Jesus hung out with hookers and had them as followers. Mary Magdalene was one of them. People are trying to say she was his wife, or that her role was misrepresented, however, I don't see how this perspective would have arose unless she really was one. After all, why would Catholic countries put down a biblical figure like that? It isn't like the Catholic church and its people to spread lies that they eventually believe, or gossip and talk shit about people that aren't like them, right?

Why does Jesus's sexual orientation matter? He tried to be a good person? Isn't that enough? He gave so much.

Most likely Jesus of Nazareth WAS married. We already know he had brothers and sisters since they are mentioned in about three NT passages. He was a son of a carpenter and he followed the Torah and was basically an itinerant preacher, or Rabbi. IN all likelihood he followed the life and customs of a 1st century Palestinian Hebrew, so this includes marriage. I am guessing all allusions to his wife were deliberately omitted from the Gospels by the writers--none of whom, btw, ever MET or even KNEW Jesus.

The earliest Gospel is that of Mark and it was not written till Jesus had been dead for about 35 years!

But no, sorry, no reason to think he was Gay. He WAS very human however, and Divine only in his nature and by dint of his Connection with the Godhead.

There IS some pretty compelling evidence that Paul was gay, however. You might want to do some checking on that.

God Bless.

The shooter in Orlando was probably gay but of course the Left won't want to talk about that.

They would rather try to tear down Christianity as always.

No, we know he was a insecure muslin faggot with daddy issues who used his backward religion to justify slaughter of 49 people at the gay bar he went to himself dozens of times.

1 John 1:1-4 .. what was from the beginning .. what we have heard .. what we have seen with our eyes .. what we have looked at and touched with our hands .. concerning the word of life (Jesus) .. and the life was manifested .. and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life .. which was with the father and was manifested to us .. what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also .. so that you too may have fellowship with us .. and indeed our fellowship is with the father .. and with his son Jesus Christ ..

these things we write .. so that our joy may be made complete .......... mp3 audio God: the source of light

Firstly I believe their were 2 Marys

"Luke 1:26-38New Life Version (NLV)

Gabriel Speaks to Mary

26 Six months after Elizabeth knew she was to become a mother, Gabriel was sent from God to Nazareth. Nazareth was a town in the country of Galilee. 27 He went to a woman who had never had a man. Her name was Mary. She was promised in marriage to a man named Joseph. Joseph was of the family of David. 28 The angel came to her and said, “You are honored very much. You are a favored woman. The Lord is with you. *You are chosen from among many women.”

Secondly we recognize that Jesus is the son of God.

New Living Translation Luke 9:35

Then a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him."

I missed the part that said gay. Jesus gay would not be correct when Jesus him self said he does the father's will and God does not like the sin of same sex relationships.

I don't think there's enough historical evidence or hints in the Bible to conclude that he was gay. But likewise, there also aren't enough to conclude he WASN'T gay either.

And I agree the stories of the New Testament were written many years after his death. It's foolish to take every word in them as undeniable fact or straight from the mouth of God. These were simple people in simple times with complex agendas and lots of sabre rattling to do on behalf of their fledgling religion and standing up to those who would oppress or oppose them for it. They set a tone because it served THEIR purpose, not because Jesus himself set that tone.
