Our food industry is facacta. Our economy, our government, other country's governments, our citizens, our businesses, our children, lack of sustainability, everything ties into itself with factory farming and genetically modified foods and obesity and bad health and what not the fuck else.
Essentially, I feel we're spiraling downward and no one can stop it.
Do you agree or disagree?
what happens in respect to the gay service member's spouses? As a gay couple they can't marry, or even register as domestic partners, in all states.
Living in San Diego, I know a lot of couples with at least one partner in the military, some of whom are gay. The heterosexual couples who are married, receive many benefits: higher pay, housing assistance, health benefits, education assistance, et cetera. It's given to them, it's a right.
How do we make sure those benefits are extended to the spouses of gay military?
Hi everybody!
So, as you may have noticed, CD has gained a Nazi.
As a crazy, ignorant, liberal I agree very little with his point of view.
So if you disagree with me, and the Nazi disagrees with me, for the same reasons... does that mean that you agree with the Nazi?
There is more crap than substance on television these days. It brings down productivity and intelligence of the entire population. Case and point: Frank the Entertainer: A Basement Affair
On the other hand... it's damn entertaining. Case and point: Frank the Entertainer: A Basement Affair
So my question is should Cable be banned for the interests of the betterment of society?
I'm kinda tired of feeling inappropriately downvoted. Should there be a "status update" or "tweet" style box that you need to fill out before downvoting. So in 100 characters or less, you can explain why you donvoted me, and I will be thus satisfied.
For example, you may downvote and explain "Inaccurate argument" or "insufficient evidence" et cetera.
Essentially, I'd sleep better at night and would be less of a bitch the next day. It's a win-win for everyone.
Since we're doin' the whole "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" thing....
It seems to me that women are naturally more suited to planning, saving, and accepting responsibility than men.
Is this a item of tradition, passed on from mother to daughter? Is it societal? Is it instinct?
Or is it simply not true?
When strangers ask me about my engagement, the often ask how we met.... and sometimes they even ask if it was over the internet. It wasn't.
But it's weird for me to think that cyber courtship is acceptable these days. I have friends who aren't at all bashful about it! And some that swear by it as the optimal way to select your mate.
So is it successful? Is it the new norm? Is it, now, encouraged to date online?
I sing in my car.... some songs can be very distracting *cough*bohemian rhapsody*cough*. Sometimes I find that it can cause minor traffic infringements, much similar to those made by someone talking on their cellphone.
In some places, talking on your cellphone, even with a hands free device, is illegal.
So should this activity be illegal as well?
I feel, sometimes, that lesbians have it easier than gay men.
Both are targeted. But I many of the same bigots who hate gays, are also taught not to harm women. There is also a positive sexual association with lesbians.
I'm using my computer to update my iphone, one of the very few needs I have for a computer anymore. I can do anything my computer can do and more, on my phone. It can be a GPS, a computer, a sex toy and yes, even a phone.
We've had debates about Iphones before, and what was said it that it doesn't send photos. Well with this update, it does.
So I ask, now is it the best thing ever?
I found that there is already and old debate about this, but I want to know what you think:
If and *when* there is a public option, should obese people pay more into the system than thinner people. Is obesity a "pre-existing" condition, or a choice of lifestyle?
