A distraction is what it is , many people while in conversation while driving get lost in that conversation , then their abilities to respond to things that occur while driving slow down, meaning they are mentally distracted , this is FACT not some BS made up crap. Since driving has huge risks naturally involved in it , I say yes it is a concern for safety, And really how many people just have to be talking on a cell phone when driving , I would suspect 99% of all calls could wait... and at least 50% is BS calls and conversations..

When I was 1 years old My Grandmother gave me a bull dog, I grew up with him until we had to put him down at age 14, I was 15... Best dog I ever had.. and a friend while growing up ! I really do not see why a child should not have a dog as a pet?
