Should city cops enforce federal law?

Hello:

Marijuana is illegal under federal law, but not in some states..  The feds say the undocumented should be arrested too, but some cities won't do it.

The difference is, sanctuary for illegals isn't legal in any state. If it were, the Russians, ISIS, and the Chinese could flood us, and there'd be nothing we could do to stop them because we'd have refused to enforce our laws.

That's why we have the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, laws, and a systematic way to citizenship. To protect America and legitimate Americans.

Yes what i think is the city cop that stops an armed felon with a known federal warrant and the gun fire erupts the city cop should call in the Feds in the heat of the battle.

Fun fact: there is no federal law against murder that has instate jurisdiction, but there is against having marijuana and a firearm. If city cops catch a murder suspect who has a loaded pot pipe and a loaded gun, they can bring state charges against him for murder, and federal charges for the firearm/gun crime.

Should city cops enforce federal law? Well let's see here. I guess they could let the murderers, burglars, rapists and terrorists go free without resistence and just hope for the best.

Sure I do. There is no state law anywhere that alows illegal aliens to be here or for people to overstay their visas because it is unconstitutional. Remember? That Constitution that you only bring up when it's convenient and ignore when it isn't?

So you know a cop can enforce any law if you are opposed to it then do something about it.

Those on the Most Wanted list cannot be approached by any city cop it must be the Feds that stop them. You are ignorant CON proven daily !

There is no federal law against murder, burglary, or rape.

It varies on a case by case basis. There are always many factors involved.

But the main reason I voted on this side is the cops are employed at the city and/or state level, so ultimately you do what your boss wants you to do. If the city or state differ with the feds then it's a foolish cop who thinks he can ignore what his actual bosses want him to do.

Cops are not employed at the Federal Level ? Are you for real with that nonsense? So a city cop makes a traffic stop and there is a felon in the vehicle with a federal warrant what is the city cop to do ?

No any city cop that crosses a felon with a Federal Warrant should just pat that felon on the back and tell them to have a good day !!!!!!
