Should city cops enforce federal law?
Marijuana is illegal under federal law, but not in some states.. The feds say the undocumented should be arrested too, but some cities won't do it.

The difference is, sanctuary for illegals isn't legal in any state. If it were, the Russians, ISIS, and the Chinese could flood us, and there'd be nothing we could do to stop them because we'd have refused to enforce our laws. That's why we have the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, laws, and a systematic way to citizenship. To protect America and legitimate Americans. Side: Yes
Fun fact: there is no federal law against murder that has instate jurisdiction, but there is against having marijuana and a firearm. If city cops catch a murder suspect who has a loaded pot pipe and a loaded gun, they can bring state charges against him for murder, and federal charges for the firearm/gun crime. Side: Yes

It varies on a case by case basis. There are always many factors involved. But the main reason I voted on this side is the cops are employed at the city and/or state level, so ultimately you do what your boss wants you to do. If the city or state differ with the feds then it's a foolish cop who thinks he can ignore what his actual bosses want him to do. Side: No
