Do Debaters Like Cartmen Upvote Their Own Non-sense With Their Other Profiles?
I dont actually care about points accumulated. I dont even know an estamate of my "points." But I do think if we can vote, it should be required to know who up or downvoted, and require a reason notes when a downvote is warranted.
I care that people consider others points made within their responses, especially if their made with real thought. But I see flip comments by some as their immediate response. With zero thought. I think its unfair to give a thoughtful debate response and recieve a stupid nonsense comment back. And Cartman is one of many here that are big on that nonsense.
If someone doesn't want to debate religion or any other issue, then they shouldn't engage. Debate is for thinkers.
If debaters are not interested in their points being challenged, they can post opinions all day long on commentaries.
But being this is a debate site, I expect reasoning minds to have intelligent points. I think my expectation is reasonable.
I rarely do a flick of sarcasm.
But occassionally it too is a point to be made. .

Cartman's terse but expressive replies combined with an uncanny ability to home in on an opposing argument's weaknesses does irritate a lot of people, including me.
He corrals his opponent into the weakest area of their argument thus forcing them to defend the achilles heel of their stated viewpoint, which is usually indefensible. All they do is dig a deeper but narrower hole for themselves where the 'wiggle room' eventually becomes nonexistent and they either enter into a protracted exchange of hostile remarks and juvenile name calling, or slink off and listen to their favourite tune on YouTube. Your personal attack on Cartman graphically illustrates that he has got the better of you intellectually and persistently demonstrated his expressive superiority. I find Cartman's Modus Operandi to be engaging and, unlike me, refreshingly concise. In the main Cartman is a counter puncher, he let's you lead with your best shot(s), weighs up your weakness(es) , keeps his powder dry by not wasting energy throwing dummy punches, but waits for precisely the right moment then follows through with a devastating left hook to the jaw. His reeling opponent tries to stay on their feet and fight back but is usually overwhelmed by his dogged determination to put his adversary on the canvass. He doesn't succeed all the time but does so more often than not.
He must be a most interesting character in real life and I consider that we should all feel privileged that he contributes so much to the site's appeal. I can tell you that he'll be around when you run out of steam, no disrespect intended as he'll probably out pace me also. Got to give credit where credit is due. Study and know your competition. It doesn't do to just climb into the ring and start slugging it out without knowing who and what you're up against, lest you end up with a very sore face, metaphorically speaking. I also have seen one or two arguments he put real thought into. I have to say though when I did, I litterally had to read it twice, I couldnt believe my eyes. Because that is not been my usual experience when reading his points. Usually he repeats back what you didn't say. And is contentious, and not productive in arguments of any valuable debate quality. I think on such occasions Cartman posts a thread on a subject about which he feels passionately, and in a way this is his Achilles Heel as when sentiment is involved objectivity will be eclipsed by emotion. For my dinero, Cartman is one of the best debaters here. He is usually fair, objective, courteous, and succinct in his replies. I also dog the way he pastes individual comments from the post he is debating and then answers them one by one. A tactic I also use on occasion. I have seen his shred many opposing posts like this. Methodically and pithily dismantling his opponent's opinion. For example, I have seen him do this to you, as well as some of the other religious zealots here. I myself have torn you guys a new one on more than one occasion, leaving you to have no ammo to come back at me with, except for those lame ass bible tracts. I am guessing, despite what you claim, you DO care about your points, and also you've been jobbed by GoCart in the past. Thus this asinine debate you started. Get over it: he is smarter and more logical and rational than you are. If people like he and I can at least make you question some of the more absurd claims of your holy book and your superstition, er...religion--than our job here is complete. Yes that actually my point. U start with 1 for the argument. So if someone downvotes then your other personality upvotes then you are back to the original 1. Now im not saying he does this everyday, thats obvious nonsense. Im just saying he does it when he is in a mood or something. So dont get extreme over the observation. And again I was poking fun really. I laugh. Christians laugh. And we too have days we are in moods. So I was in a pokey mood.
