Evidence shows Jesus was Gay

Jesus never married. He preached love, tolerance, and forgiveness of sins. He did not condemn and vilify homosexuality as his so-called followers do today. He surrounded himself with men whom “he loved”. He never dated or married according to scripture. Why is the New Testament silent about his sexuality? Jesus was probably gay as the following passages will indicate.

John 13:22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

As a heterosexual man I can say that the only men I have ever witnessed laying their head on another man’s bossom are homosexual men. John is referred to on more than one occasion as the one whom Jesus loved or the beloved one. This is also an indication that John was intimately involved with Jesus.

The word “agape” is used in reference to the relationship between Jesus and John five times in the book of John. This is one of the words meaning love in Greek, but this word for love normally indicated intimacy (In Love With) unlike the other words for love.

Yeah, ol' Yeshua probably was a homosexual.

There is some compelling evidence for this idea.

For one: the Gospels claim he never married. Yet, it was the norm--in fact, almost the rule without exception--back in first century Palestine for a Jewish working man to marry and raise a family.

And notice Jesus never spoke of lust, or love of women! Only stuff like "loving your neighbor" or "loving your God." This is abnormal as well. God gave healthy men a desire to procreate and have sex. Yet Jesus has always remained curiously silent on this topic.

Plus He spoke of "the disciple I love more than any other." This was John, whom he probably was engaging in homosexual love with. He and his disciples probably had orgies. This is part of the reason the Jewish authorities like the Pharisees and the Sanhedrin were always trying to persecute them. Not for their beliefs, but because they knew they were all sexual deviants.

But of course the gospel writer would never admit this, so they invented other reasons for the persecution of Jesus and his followers. I think the Romans knew, however. You can find some mention of this in some old letters from Roman governors and centurions from 1st Century Palestine. Which speak of the amorality of JC and his boys back then.

Homosexuality; drunkenness, political insurrection, and associating with prostitutes. Some of whom were male.

Overall, Jesus and his bunch were borderline deviants. Almost Evil!!

Hail!

See the problem with your debate style is that rude comments don't provide any supporting evidence for your argument. This says that my evidence is much stronger than what you can refute making it the more plausible answer. Which I already knew!

Side: Jesus was Homosexual

Even if you had more substantial evidence than this, it wouldn't mean much. Up until the past few hundred years, sex was much more casual than it is today. Most people had sex with everyone, regardless of gender. It didn't mean everyone was gay, or bi, or straight. Intimacy just wasn't as big a deal. It was still frowned upon in many circles, but in the same way that it was frowned upon to rape your slaves in 18th and 19th century America. Everyone did it, and even though it may have been seen as wrong by many, to do so was just conforming to society.

Eh, maybe. But I think that last paragraph of that article is the most significant: none of that really matters. xD

First of all... the creator of this debate is saying that Jesus was putting his head on another mans bosom... That is not gay (This stupid Generation makes everything look gay). You say Jesus never married, That is true. and If Jesus was gay then you wouldn't have to go into research about it. It would have been a known fact. And we all Know Jesus Loved his disciples but Every Christian should know that Jesus loved all of the people Equally.

The entire story of Jesus in some of the cannons outside of the edited version of the Bible does give further evidence that Jesus had a physical relationship with a man. The lost Gospel of Mark which was edited out by the church before the final cut that we know as the Bible today. Here is what was found.

The letter includes two excerpts from the Lost Gospel. The first is to be inserted, Clement states, between what are verses 34 and 35 of Mark 10:

And they come into Bethany. And a certain woman whose brother had died was there. And, coming, she prostrated herself before Jesus and says to him, 'Son of David, have mercy on me.' But the disciples rebuked her. And Jesus, being angered, went off with her into the garden where the tomb was, and straightway a great cry was heard from the tomb. And going near Jesus rolled away the stone from the door of the tomb. And straightway, going in where the youth was, he stretched forth his hand and raised him, seizing his hand. But the youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be with him. And going out of the tomb they came into the house of the youth, for he was rich. And after six days Jesus told him what to do and in the evening the youth comes to him, wearing a linen cloth over his naked body. And he remained with him that night, for Jesus taught him the mystery of the kingdom of God. And thence, arising, he returned to the other side of the Jordan.[12]

The second excerpt is very brief and is to be inserted, according to Clement, in Mark 10:46:

And the sister of the youth whom Jesus loved and his mother and Salome were there, and Jesus did not receive them.[12]

If you read Mark you will find that this truly fits with the story of Lazarus and the naked man in the cave with Jesus when he was arrested

Although I am an atheist, your evidence is flimsy. Your proof that Jesus was gay came from the Bible and I'm sure that not much can be taken as fact from that book.

See my links earlier for more evidence that JC was gay.

And it seems he wasn't alone insofar as Gays in the Gospels. LOL.

There is even MORE compelling evidence that Saul or Tarsus (Paul) was a homosexual.

Exactly, the Bible is very contradictory. One passage says God is merciful, the other says that God will send people like me and you (atheists; well I'm not an atheist but I'm not Christian) to Hell.

Well when discussing Jesus is must use the info from the Bible or other religious cannons since there is no historical evidence of Jesus or the disciples. I normally try to state that it's according to the Bible.

This is stupid. To say there is no historical evidence of Jesus Christ of the Bible or of His disciples outside of the Bible is just plain ignorance. Whoever made you believe that garbage is NOT your friend. You know what you are really doing? You are trying to prove you have the right to exist outside of Hell. You can't prove that because you do not have that right. You can make lots of statements asserting your ignorance and claim that your doubts prove you won't reside in the Lake of Fire forever, but it's only stupid statements of arrogance.

You can easily find the historical records you say do not exist. I will not post them for you. I think it would be a waste of time since you seem to think you know everything and probably can't admit it when you are wrong no matter how much the historical record says you are wrong. You are another of these modern day mindless people pumped full of disinformation by television and public schools.

Can there be any more proof of the total clinical insecurities and bigoted hatred for the Christian faith by so many Gay activists? The hatred for any faith that dares say Homosexuaity is a sin, is what has driven the past decades of constant pandering for Gay agendas.

Liberals and Gay activists long ago joined sides with the common goal of separating our Christian heritage from this nation. They refused to show respect for the majority faith in this land. They refused to respect people's rights to follow their faith and beliefs. They sued Churches to force them to allow Gay sunday school teachers but it failed. They will never give up until they have created Christian cults who no longer believe homosexuality is a sin. They want to transform the Bible and make ludicrous claims of Christ being Gay. HOW SICK IS THAT?

What they don't understand is that they have no control over our eternity. Yes, they can try and transform a nation to believe up is down, but when it is all said and done, up is still up and everyone knows what is real and what is true. No one is judging the sin of homosexuality. Christians are standing up for our faith as it is written.

True Christians have love for all people but we will fight any group trying to twist our faith to sanction homosexuality as ok. We will speak out against those groups till the ends of time.

Interesting point of view, so you're claiming that none of the other biblical beliefs have been wrong and now are considered, not sinful !!!. I would like to prove you wrong about that. there have been many but I would like to point out the most glaring example.

Can you tell me which of the "Ten Commandments" homosexuality is mentioned in ?? Rhetorical none of them. Now when you do work on the Sabbath "from sundown Friday to Sun up on Sunday" Do you consider that a more notable sin than homosexuality ?? Apparently God did as it is mentioned not only in the "Ten Commandments" but through out the entire Bible. I would love to hear your rebuttal on this.

Side: Jesus was Homosexual

Do you honestly think the ten commandments are the totallity of all sins? The Bible speaks to many sins that go far beyond the ten commndments.

Read the following verses in Romans 1

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Concerning your question to working on the Sabbath....

Matthew 12:9-14

He went on from there and entered their synagogue. And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse him. He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other. ...

So you see Jesus himself said it was ok to work on the Sabbath in certain instances, and it is not clear if he meant working on the Sabbath is ok for all things. Manny Christians are conflicted over working on the Sabbath, as to being a sin. We do not try to tell the Church that it is not a sin.

For sake of arguing your point, let's say you are right and working on the Sabbath is still a sin as in the old testament.

What you and others always miss is that most Christians are not scoring the severity of sins such as homosexuality any more than they are judging adultery, etc. etc. etc.

Now I am certain you will ask ask me next..... why does the Church seem much more fixated with the sin of Homoseuxality than other sins.

I've explained this many times before but here goes.....

Do those who commit adultery go to Churches and try to get them to twist what their faith teaches about adultery? Does an aduterer tell the Church his sin is not a sin? NO! The Church teaches that adultery is a sin and everyone accepts that fact. This includes most other sins.

Now when it comes to Gay activists and those on the Left who want to twist our Christian faith to say Homosexuality is not a sin (such as you are doing right now), then we of course will fight back to preserve the Christian faith as written and not allow any group to twist it's core teachings, because if we pick and choose which verses we no longer want to follow, then the entire Bible would become a man made cult that changes with the times.(I believe this to be the goal of the Left)

But this is why the Church constantly must fight the political correct forces trying to twist our Christian faith. This is why Homosexuality is so often in the spot light. The Left keeps pushing their agendas on the Church.

Now when Gay actiists sued Churches to force them to hire Gay Sunday school teachers, Christians fought back saying it would undermine to our children the words of God.

Now many have said that the Church does not worry as much when a past adulterer is a Sunday school teacher. If the sin is in the past, and the person is not currently living the sin, and has asked forgiveness for his sin, and admits it is a sin, then Christians do forgive and forget and would maybe allow him to be a Sunday school teacher. That would be a judgement call on the Church to make sure the kids would never get conditioned to adultery being ok.

When John was laying on Jesus' bosom, it was out of affection for the YOUNG boy. Now, I'm not defending Christianity, it doesn't make sense, but Jesus is not gay. He had many female friends whose relationship could've maybe even escalated sexually (especially Mary Magdelene). Some disputed Scriptures claimed that he had children. John was treated more like Jesus' younger brother or son, not as a well, you know.

To try to write a non-biblical argument to excuse your disgusting habit i think is absolutely and in the whole stupid! but when you say that God the creator of MAN AND WOMAN son is gay then that means that God has sex with people and is indeed a wicked God isn't he a spirit? God does not change and last time i checked i read in Deuteronomy that I a man lies with a man as with a woman they will be put to death but thanks to Jesus the ultimate judgement is postponed and I quote this verse about how both sexes though about him...Isaiah 53:2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground. He hath no form nor comeliness, and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.Jesus is not now, nor has he ever been, despised and rejected because of any flaw in himself. He "did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth" (I Peter 2:22); he was "in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" and one last thing the mooshy language used in the bible is not what was found in the Hebrew or Greek he loved his disciples because he thought of them like his children and brothers as he should! and one more thing how did all these "Homos" get here by two men oh! by a MAN AND A WOMAN! besides homos will only lead to population decline so it's not productive and a man's body isn't built for such foolishness and this habit comes with various medical problems and long term internal damage and A.I.D.S so, That is my take Thank you.

First sir God and Jesus are clearly two separate entities. Here are a couple of Bible passages that clearly show this.

Matt 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God:

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Matt 3:17 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased

John 12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God

I have more if this does not clearly show that Jesus and God are two distinctly separate entities. If we are to believe that Mary was a virgin then we would have to believe that God can procreate with humans. As for God being wicked may I refer to the Bible

4 For in seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; I will wipe out every living thing that I have made from the face of the earth

That is as wicked as it gets. not only kill the sinners but the innocent the children, the animals, puppies, kittens, and babies. Then there is the story of Lot. What kind of evil wicked God would kill a devoted loving servants entire family and make him sick and destitute just to win an dispute with an angel?? Follow the path of God inspired path of destruction that Moses left. All of the men women and children except the little girls who were saved for the men. That's a whole different level of wicked.

You can ignore the evidence but what was Jesus doing in the cave when he was arrested with the "Naked Man"?

AIDS is only a gay disease in the western world in Africa the majority of heterosexual couples have it in many communities. I have a gay brother and he is approaching 50 and has no health problems at all and has been gay from adolescence. I think you may be misinformed about many things. That is my take on it.
