I would like to point out that the World Health Organization (WHO) was responsible for releasing a bunch of quarantined dogs when it was discovered that dogs cannot contract the Corona Virus. So to recap, WHO let the dogs out!!! ;)
It seems that he is temporarily withholding American taxpayer's dollars to an organization which deceitfully and recklessly covered up the Chinese source of Covid-19 that critically delayed the governments of the world taking the appropriate life saving measures.

Trump declared a nation emergency before the WHO even declared there was a pandemic. The WHO rebuked his travel bans. He did them anyway. Dr Fauci said that gave America the time to flatten the curve that Italy could not flatten.

He talked about Coronavirus in the State of the Union that Pelosi ripped up and the China travel ban was in January. The WHO didn't declare a pandemic until March and suggested Trump not ban Chinese travel .
Talking about it and acknowledging it as a potential threat and problem as well as taking action to mitigate damage are two different things. Throughout all of January and most of February he 'talked' about it. Downplaying it, spreading misinformation and mocking everyone who did take it seriously. The travel restriction also did NOT exempt imported goods from China including those people who drive the boats and planes to bring said imports to the US.

AZ has a Governor that's Republican and mayors of big cities that are Democrats and seems to have handled things about average so far, but I think it at huge risk for being hit by a second wave - mostly due to the elderly population - if they open up too quickly.
