Hello 24:

Well, when one of these right wingers ban me, I take it as an acknowledgement that I'm doing something RIGHT..

How, exactly, does that follow?

The First Amendment was written exclusively for right wingers and if you disagree with (some) of them, you lose your First Amendment rights. Usually they are the ones with weak arguments, don't like to be told they might be wrong, can't abide making an apology. Some, I think, have their eye on the Presidency some time in the future and are just practicing. There are FEW (if any) "liberals" who ban ... it's that "Constitution thingy" they believe in. I think it's also got something to do with the fact that the majority of conservative voters were "below college level" and constantly cut college benefits to increase the conservative voting base. :-)

I have NEVER blocked anyone. I don't believe in it, it's un-American!

So all of those immigrants that barely speak English are above college level, and when you say you need the minority vote, you simply mean only the educated minorities? Wow.

Riddle me this? How are we the oppressors, living in white privelege, and greedy if we are all uneducated, poor idiots, and liberals are the highly educated?

Many conservatives are well educated, non-idiots. That's why Trump had so many of them against him before "the idiots" elected him! Now, they have little choice but to support him.

Things like: "We're going to have the most transparent administration you've ever seen!" Now, they try to "repeal and replace" behind closed doors. Illegally tape conversations in the Oval Office? Pass legislation with NO debate?

Riddle me this: How can that be ANYTHING butt a bunch of "oppressors"! Liberals don't need to be highly educated to know when they're being TRUMPED! The "minority vote" doesn't NEED to be highly educated to know when they are being screwed! Remember that! (Faux News wont tell you that).

While the left is butthurt over Trump's...Words.

While the left shuts down speeches by Anne Coulter, Milo Yianoupolis, and Dinseh Dsouza with violence, death threats & setting cars and buildings on fire.

I am not one of that angry, tiny part of the left wing. I would not be a part of any wing that did those things (like the TEAbaggers .... and don't give me the slang definition, YOU know what I mean!)

I believe in free speech for EVERYONE, and I don't like hate speech FROM anyone. I am a part of the 99% who gets angry at the "words" Trump uses to stir up YUGE anger, but I don't get THAT angry, I'd rather get even! That 99% of left wingers I belong to feel the same, I'm sure.

You see, even though I 'm not a fan of religion, I feel more "Christ-like" than many of the claimed Christians on this, or another site I USED to be on. Coultergiest and the rest can say what they like, I reserve MY right to talk against them!

Okay. Give us a good argument on this question.

How do you oppose Conservative ideas, then ally politically with Islam, which has extreme Conservative ideas?

AlofRI(3294) Clarified

It's just natural to oppose conservative ideas, they only consider a certain class of people. That stuff that "trickles down" on U.S. isn't money! Then, I DO NOT ally myself with Islam, I ally myself with OUR Constitution, and the rules set down by OUR founders. I don't care what anyone's religion is, I care that if you have one that you have a right to it. That's one of the things that "made America great" in the first place! I don't "like" ANY religion with "extreme conservative ideas" (Like Christianity OR Islam). I DO think they have their rights under the Constitution ... which automatically takes away much of Islam's "Sharia Law" in this country. It also makes sure that Christians cannot burn witches or put people in "stocks"!

I don't know what kind of argument I can give you on opposing conservative ideas other than that same Constitution gives ME that right. The rest of your statement has been "Trumped" (made very clear)!

Do you just can't talk, or is it more than that?

Whoever created the debate can ban you for no reason at all if they want to. Nothing happens to you.

If you get reported a lot, you might get a message from the admin saying to stop or he gives you a suggestion for a corrective action.

Thanks!

Don't listen to Grenade, he's a cry baby who comes into a discussion and acts like a jerk and then whines about getting banned. He'll say "boo hoo, waaa waaa, you banned me because I disagreed with you" while he somehow manages to ignore the fact that he acts like a jack ass. He's just mad because he can't prove that he has the right to exist outside of Hell.

I agree, but if a site has terms of services and the administrators ban posters who have not violated those terms then the site is unworthy. Getting reported a lot is not a reason. Years ago, on this other site, gays and liberals would literally spend all day reporting people that they considered to be homophobes.

There are three perspectives.

From the Administrator: It means the site works. The debate creator made a judgment and it can't be questioned. End of story.

From the Banner:

1) Ha ha ha, I shut that SOB up! Now I can declare myself right. Now I can continue to mock them and add insults which they cannot answer. Or on very very rare occasion

2) They might honestly think they did a public service by shutting off a speaker.

From the Bannee:

1) They feel what they said the first time struck a note strong enough to trigger being banned, so they're satisfied. Or

2) Or they go start their own debate they control so they can continue the discussion.

3) Or in rare cases they may take it up with the Administrator, but then see my first point up top.

What it actually never achieves is shutting anyone up. It just diverts discussion around to other avenues.

It depends on if you are lost or if you are saved. If you are lost and you get banned, you can no longer participate with those who are not banned. It's kind of like what happens if your time in this world ends and you wake up in Hell, banned from the presence of those who still have time to interact while not banned.

If you are saved and you are banned, it does not matter because you have eternal life and will always be free to participate with those who will never cease enjoying their existence with their Creator.

I do agree, that some people need to be banned. These are mostly the people who use profanity and personal insults. But, banning people to try to shut down their links and evidence is cowardly and the efforts of a weak moderator. I have debated on Topix for 9 years now and I have been banned over 1,000 times, but I do not curse or use profanity. I simply challenge people, mostly liberals and gays, with evidence that homosexuality is a mental disorder. Irony, when they try to ban me, mmit proves that homosexuality is a mental disorder. I am always respectful, but to the left that means submission and acceptance.
