Texting is never or rarely OK! Most times it's just rude. If you had company you certainly wouldn't spend a couple of hours on the phone with them or watch TV for an inordinate amount of time. So why would you subject someone to texting while they are in your home for whatever reasons they are there. At best it's simply unmannerly.

If it makes you feel better about it, forgive them. If not, then why bother. There is a higher source that will handle all things after death anyway.

Hitting on someone doesn't mean the gaydar is malfunctional...it simply means the person is attracted to the other. Gaydar usually works in my corner of the world and you know...you just know.

Yes I do fear dying...but it's more the manner in which I die that does it for me. No long lingering, painful illness do I seek. Just a quiet death in the night will suit me perfectly.

I think it's just another way to collect more taxes. The government doesn't really want you you to stop smoking. They collect millions of dollars of taxes every year that you do...and if they did, why is it that I've never even seen a brochure advocating less use of tobacco sent by the government? Or programs that are available free of charge, paid for by tax dollars to get you to quit smoking. I think it's a bunch of crap, pure and simple.

That is, by far, the meanest thing you've ever said to me pyg. I've had my pix up here a hundred times but I don't see yours, ever. As a matter of fact I don't see any of the wordy boys pix on here at all. Put em up fag boy!

See what I mean? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

People like things that are structured and the government is that. Imagine our country if each of us had to figure out our fair share of taxes without the charts to go by. We really have no idea how our government works and what they do in order to keep a well structured society in the land. It's a easy as 1-2-3. They figure stuff out and we pay for the thousands of things they have figured out for us in order to live successfully.

I certainly know how you feel and that the feeling exisits that you would like to crush their bones but in life you will come across many who will betray you and you cannot kill them all! Perhaps being mature enough to make better choices in friendship is what it's all about. That would certainly make a start in keeping the betrayers at bay. If they cannot get close to you, they cannot betray you.

No one should bow low to the evil people among us, no matter what their age...but usually our elders are not such an embodiment of evil and have much to teach us if we would only listen.

Every nation and every ethnicity have people who are dislikeable in them. How can you make such a blanket statement about "whitey" and think that it's right? It's not all right to dislike entire race based upon propaganda as it wouldn't be right if we did the same.

I've not seen this in women so much as I have in straight men. They ALWAYS think...well, if she just had the right man, she'd change her tune!

I don't see what the difference is in importance. As a matter of fact I see them both as a matter of unimportance to society. What good does either do? One sits in a stupor of drugs while the other sits in a stupor of liquor...so what good is either to anyone?

Well, one thing is certain...they have problems of universal proportions if they cry over every little thing. It also depends on the age. I know that sounds silly but it's true. During puberty, for instance, things hit you like a ton of bricks that would otherwise not faze you as an adult.

I shouldn't think you'd need to prove that you're a man if you are one. By whose measuring stick would you judge? What would you have to do? It's all subjective and much of it is macho nonsense.

Understanding the views of your opponent is very important in a debate...even if they are wrong. One doesn't need to be nasty or obnoxious in correcting the other viewpoint either. If someone has made a mistake there's no point in shoving it down their throat. A bit of understanding goes a long way in being a good debater.

I love to read a book that they then turn into a movie and not be disappointed in the end. Books are important for the details are all there that they couldn't fit into a two hour movie. In a movie you get the gist of the plot with some detail but not all. I prefer to read the book but I've had it go the other way too...reading the book after the movie. One I can remember was a mini-series made for TV which was awesome in it's detail and story line. But there was still a bit more in the book they just couldn't cover.

People who truly are gay are born that way...there's no choice involved. Ask any gay person you know when they realized they were or might be gay for the first time in their lives and they'll tell you it goes back to childhood albeit not recognized at that time. In some it doesn't manifest until puberty but most knew it long before.

If gay people could change the fact they are gay they surely would because of the treatment they get from the stright world. Who would raise their hand in class and say they wish to be gay? No one in their right mind would suffer the treatment the straight world foists upon us and be OK with it.

There's no comparison between the two since they come from two completely different era's. Charlie Chaplin relied heavily on sight gags without sound of any kind and to this day any comedian will tell you that he is their idol.

...and he just won the Nobel Prize! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Why would anyone have the least bit of tolerance if someone tells them they are evil and that they are going to hell? You must be a bit off the beam and more! No one tolerates it because no one has to.

One of the problems with down voting is that you never know who the culprit was. They simply hit and run.

Long Live Gandhiji!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

For those who can be satisfied on just vegetables, have at it. I'll take the small amount of meat I do eat and savor it.

The Smart Car is impossibly small. The Mini-Cooper is small as well but not like the tonka toy the Smart Car is. I'll take the Mini-Cooper built by BMW and take my chances.

Hopefully we won't be reading about you in a newpaper soon!

can you explain..."as long as it's nothing homosexual." Where is there a connection?

No, Joe Cavalry is simply nuts...not preggers! `````````````````````````````````

Another candidate for more homework. Why does English escape you people?

It would seem homework has escaped you in many ways! `````````````````````````````````````

There's no comparison to Arnold in his day. Arnold wins it hands down. Again, you must consider the time lapse.

Same old argument Joe...I'm trying to picture you with a cow and overalls! Why would you want to be subsidized when you don't own a farm? You're not eligible.

This may sound cold hearted but STOP having children you cannot support in any way whatsoever. This video is heartbreaking but it ticks me off because it's the children they want you to see in order to open your hearts to give. How can we possibly feed these hungry people all over the world. What we can teach them is how to grow the foods they need in order to stay this neverending hunger.

On any island in the Pacific. With nothing to do and no telephones ringing...that's my dream vacation. Add to that, having everything done for you and that just makes it perfect.

There is no reason I can think of save your being in a hospital unconscious and don't know who's doing what to you. Out side of that no one should be given access to your body without your consent.

That side must win because this side is too confused to realize it's a no win situation!

In theory, like Socialism, it all looks good on paper but we, as Americans, have never seen a solid representation of a Communist state in which the poor had any chance at all of pulling themselves up by their bootstraps and becoming better than they are.

Saturn it is because I am fascinated by the gaseous rings circling it.

I don't believe the end is unimportant but I do believe the road you travel to reach your goal is. I don't like it when people trample upon the rights of others to reach their ends and that's why it's important for the means to be a clean effort to the end.

There's nothing wrong with keeping it there. I know our forefathers meant the conventional Christian God but it's not written that way on the currency. In God we trust...any God is implied!

I don't understand why they wouldn't! Every athlete should take whatever advantages there are in whatever manner suits the sport they are participating in.

he's no one he doesn't think he is...lol! `````````````````````````````

Successful in what terms? Hitler had his followers but Jesus Christ outnumbers him by billions of worshipers.

Most kids don't take school seriously, how can you expect them to vote when they cannot respect the knowledge that sits in front of them each day?

Yes he should if he is going to support that child all the way through. It doesn't seem as though the father has many rights at the present but he should.

I would go back to WW II and talk with Adolph Hitler. I'd love to get into his head for a while and try to figure him out.

He's bad at both so he is neither! ``````````````````````````````

Thanks for posting the link for the lyrics...at last I know what they're singing about!

Can you please post the words Jake, I can't understand these kids. All I get is Barack Hussein Obama!

Easier? Yes! But it must mean the same EXACT thing in every way.

That must be one of the most ineffective arguments I've ever heard!!! This has nothing to do with the children...at all.

Christian Bale...hands down! ````````````````````````````````````

What can I do...I've got Mall Phobia!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not unless you allow it to be! Tradition is a good thing and many people and families have their traditions which they follow year after year and pass down to generations. I would say it's the other way around anyway...that progress stands in the way of traditions. When I was growing up most families visited with one another on Sunday afternoons after dinner. With the absence of 'blue laws' we can no longer do that since many people have to work on Sunday's. It's a shame too because in today's world most people don't really know their Aunts, Uncles and Cousins the way they did when I was a kid.

I begin and end my shopping on Black Friday but I never venture into the stores on that crazy day. I make my list and shop online only so that everything is delivered on time with no muss or fuss. It's a great way to shop without ever leaving the house!

Like Mick, I begin to listen to Christmas music right after the Thanksgiving festivities. That gives me a solid month or more to listen to all the music I have and I have more than fits into the time frame!

Then it must be changed to include it! ``````````````````````````````

It minimizes it because it's not the same as the term marriage and it should be because that's what it is...a marriage! Why make it different from the git when it doesn't need to be. The differences are already built in because of the same sex aspects. Why go any further than that?

I see no logical or health reason to do this. In some countries it may be a matter of tradition but not here...or so I believe!

I understand what you mean and perhaps I should have worded it differently but I remember the times before Roe v. Wade where women would have abotions regardless of peril to their own lives! That's what I meant.

Employers do pay for employees insurance and most times the form says husband/wife and not partner. That is not to say that some employers do not recognize partners but it's almost always a straight relationship. Most churches do not recognize same sex patnersgips or marriages...that's a given. The government, at the state level only recognizes those unions insofar as legislation that has been passed giving it the green light. Gays must be recognized in the exact same way that straight people are recognized with no exceptions otherwise it falls apart at the seams.

I don't know that I could expalin it in a whole bag of nuts but it is my understanding that no one will be uninsured and no one will be turned down due to pre-existing conditions and/or because they are already sick. I also understand that they are wanting to keep the cost of medications down but I do not know how they will accomplish that. I understand that if you like your present policy you may keep it and it can travel with you if you are employed elsewhere.

Oh, now there's a good reason for not letting them get married!!!

The only such match that ever existed was the one between Billie Jean King and a male partner, Bobby Riggs, who kept squawking that a woman could never beat a man in tennis...guess what? She won it! I'd love to see another match like that myself!

One thing we have learned is that if you inject an animal with anything in great amounts that it will, in all liklihood, die!

Supported 100%!!! There are many things we do not see as sports that actually are. Just look at how diversified the Olympics are for starters.

Incest can be a damaging factor in one life or the other...it depends on the age. If a 17 year old is brother is having sex with his 13 year old sister I see a problem there on an emotional level. I would say this type of sex is illegal and immoral.

There is no reason to have a government subsidized airport there based on the amount of passengers it carries on a daily basis.

As long as it doesn't get into the wrong hands I guess it's ok. But there's the rub! How exactly do you keep if from getting into a child's hands? Adults with children should have this stuff locked away in their bedroom's so the kids cannot get to it.

We don't need to...the term and it's social definition are already there! It's about inclusion!

It certainly does not make you sexist! The job of running and maintaining a household is every bit as taxing, if not more so, than working a full time job. Dad's day ends at 5:00PM whereas Mom's job goes on from early morning to lights out! How can realizing the importance of this make one sexist...unless the role is forced upon the woman?

Tennis? You're joking right? It's already been proven that women can take on a man anytime in that game! Others not so much but tennis most definately!

Why not the other way around Jake? Why not let us alone and let us be free to choose whom we wish to spend the rest of our lives with in marriage!

Money can help you buy the things that make you happy but true happiness cannot be found in the almighty dollar. It's nice to be surrounded by wonderful things but I'd rather be surrounded by happiness and love.

I love money...that's because I never have enough to spend! I need someone to set up a fund for me and maybe I can get some of what I need most!

His name is Tazz but I call him babeeeee-face! Not idiotic but oh so true!

There's no reason for a downvote on this! We were asked a question, I answered it appropriately.

My take on this is that Gay marriage does not minimize Straight marriange at all. What gays wish is to be recognized in the same way their straight counterparts are...no more, no less. I would tend to believe that straight couples feel their vows are not the same as their gay counterparts but that's wrong. No matter what you call it, civil union or marriage it must be the same all around and not just the government aspects of it. Gays must be recognized in their own right at their jobs where your employer pays for insurance, at churches where they worship and by the government they live under. It's not about changing the name from marriage to civil union...why make a different name for it when marriage is the recognized term for it? It must be the same because it minimizes nothing and no one.

As is evidenced by the fact that not many people followed Jesus in His time. He was right about so many things but He wasn't followed then as He might have been. Most people did doubt Him even though He was right in His teachings.

I don't think they like to debate more than they like to chat or use facebook as a means of communicating their thoughts. I think only some people like to debate, again, if you can call it that, but I see it as a very small percentage of the overall Internet. I think people love to give their opinions but not necessarily hear a rebuttal to those opinions.

I think it's the attention they pay you when you're together that's the dead giveaway. If they're always happy to see you is another. It's the same the other way around. Pay attentiion to what she has to say and look her straight in the eye when she's talking...act as though you care. Be happy to see her as well and she what her reaction is to you. Eye contact is another dead giveaway.

I believe Michael Jackson died from an accidental overdose of a combination of drugs...those Dr. Murray gave him as well as some MJ may have taken on his own. There was no motive, that we know of, for the doctor to have taken MJ's life with some dire reason in mind.

...and that's my final answer; no it does not! ``````````````````````````````````

In all the years I worked for T.W.A. I never took the time to see Vienna, Austria. That would be a dream come true but travel is too difficult for me now.

I've always thought that it's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice!

I think it was always cool to be smart but never cool to be a nerd or a geek! Smart is cool, man!!!

Let us at least hope it has tarnished it well enough so it begins to become extinct!

I shall miss my friend Robin the most. She was a fantastically brilliant, spry 80 year old woman who studied her entire life about other people and things. She died of cancer this spring and at least I had the chance to say good-bye to her before she left this earth. I loved her dearly.

How ugly is ugly? I wouldn't date either one given the options.

I have always preferred R&B;as a genre! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The way it's going maybe we should just have health care for well people!!!

For the age old reasons of greed and jealousy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Depending on the age and experiences of the partners I'd say the second is always better. In the first marriage one may have gone through the 'illusion' of what they perceived to be married life and were disappointed in the same. As one grows apart from their first partner they learn to know what does and does not make them happy and what they can put up with and what they can't. A second marriage may not have all the bells and whistles of the first but I would bet it's better grounded for both parties. Being so would make that marriage last if, after all is said and done, one learns that a relationship is truly a work in progress and one must guard that love and trust with every fiber of their being.

Always have and always will...today is no different than it was 40 years ago. They use women to sell a product or themselves through revealing photos, sexy getaways, expe4nsive as well as household products. Nothing sells better than a woman wrapped in luxury.

That's because you're a fat dumb-assed twat knocker! `````````````````````````````````````````

Not at all Mahollinder, it's simply the age that matters.
