I think if anyone told someone else that they didn't exist they would be laughed at. I don't know if it would be in a malicious way, simply a laugh of disbelief or amusement. "The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good." Often times the word "fool" stands for wicked man. And Atheist is not automatically wicked for simply not believing in a God. Neither is a Christian automatically righteous for believing in Him. Those who are wicked won't claim God in their lives because they wish to do as they will, not as God wills. In a sense he must believe in God and God's will to deny God's existence in favor of his self-serving needs. So basically, the one with wickedness in his heart doesn't want to believe in God because he wants zero consequences in acting out the wickedness in his heart. There is a difference between Atheists and a foolish man who refuses God so he can be free to be wicked. Side: Think they live without God
Psalm 14:1 says "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God". It calls them fools. They are called fools, plain and simple. Atheists are automatically fools the moment they decide they are atheists. You are wicked because you say Jesus is not God who died for your sins and you will not repent of your sin believing He is risen from the dead and is alive forever more. You teach all kinds of doctrines of devils which is suitable for your friendship with witches. There is no difference between an atheist and a fool. The Bible clearly, plainly, and simply says atheists are fools. Apparently the only way you can explain this is to try to change it and twist it all around going in meandering tangents trying to smear the simplicity of what the Bible says. It clearly says that ALL who say there is no God are corrupt and have done abominable things and NONE does good. You don't understand because you are trying to justify yourself, trying to allow for others to justify themselves. You want your freedom to do and say whatever you feel like without being in submission to God. We are all sinners who deserve to die and burn in Hell. When Jesus was approached with "Good Master......." Jesus said "why do you call me good? there is none good, only God is good". The person approaching Jesus did not recognize His divinity and Jesus called him out on it while correcting the idea that a sinner can be good. I've analysed both Deism and atheistic materialism beyond what you can possibly think (though even a little bit qualifies under that) and there isn't any contradiction in either. But a perfect God would certainly reward the rational creatures, if he desires to do any such thing as rewarding people. Thus, you're worse off than me either way. You see? when you compare the passage you refer to with Psalm 14:1 which says you are a fool, you have to figure out what is going on. Clearly you are not my brother but rather are of your father the devil so calling you a fool is not covered by the passage you quote warning against calling a brother a fool. To be my brother, you have to repent of your sin and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him as your Savior. If you would believe, God would give you a new heart by His Holy Spirit which would make you a child of His and my brother....but by your own words I have to believe you are and intend to be forever a child of Hell, a fool thinking he can live without God and desiring to die without God. Psalms is a book of poems with multiple authors of long forgotten identities. Quoting psalms as the word of god is analogous to quoting the lyrics of any modern song and saying it is the defining truth about whatever the topic of the song happens to be. The Bible is God's word given by Him for us to know Him. Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. God used chosen servants to record His word. I think you are starting to get the idea that if you die in your sins when your time is over, you are forever banned from God and will be left in Hell.
